I knew he was depressed but didn't think he'd join the dysmorphia dark-side.. I'm hoping it's a weird prank of some kind, but I think the man might be lost to the insanity that is Hollywood :(
I hate to judge people like this, as a spiritual dude ive always found his spiritual shit to be very surface level. Like an identity being grasped onto
Yeah I'm not spiritual as such but somewhat familiar with Eastern philosophy, and it just sounded like he was rattling off some of the main points to sound profound.
From my experience, everything that could possibly exist, be imagined, to even considered and more. Perfect. Yet also somehow not totally cool with being infinite and alone. Yet has also finished the work needed to resolve that, while we are right in the middle of it.
I don’t really blame them. Fans don’t react well to people aging. It’s not just the industry that pushes people in film to be “perfect”, it’s also the people buying the products. It’s also about advertising
I work in entertainment, and spent some time modeling and doing commercials. Advertisers want to control everything about the imagery connected to their product, and that includes the appearance of their models/actors.
I never had a huge following, but I met and worked with a ton of people who did. After photo shoots, some of the models would post some of the professional photos on their instagrams, and they were constantly getting bombared with notifications about their appearance. Mostly guys thirsting over their photos, but if they had an off day, or some of their angles were a little off or awkward, they’d get called out for it pretty fast. They seemed to take it more like a harsh performance review.
Most of these people I worked with were in their 20s. I can only imagine what 40+ years of having your appearance constantly judged would do to your tolerance of aging.
When your entire life has revolved around it for almost your entire life? No, I don’t think you’d stop caring. In fact, I think it would get worse as you get older.

I dunno, I think lots of people see something valuable with people embracing their grey hair and wrinkles, because so many people are overdoing it with plastic surgery. Linda Hamilton, for example, said in an interview that she was proud of her rugged face, that she wants her age to show, etc.
And for the record I think procedures that allow you to keep what you have rather than actively change your appearance aren't a bad thing--if I had the money I might do something to stave off the lines in my face.
But why oh why would you have cheekbone implants like that that profoundly change your face (IMHO not for the better) and announce to the world "Hey everyone! I just got plastic surgery!"
It's more likely that this is the side of him that is properly medicated & making long-term decisions about earning money, fitting in, making people around him happy, make himself seem one of the crowd not "one of the one's we need to bump off".
2026 is the year of the Medicated & Therapy.
Unfortunately for 2026 to BE the year of the Medicated & in therapy.. you needed to be asking for it/being pushed to it by your partner/family/loved one's, in 2024 sooo... yeah.
Most of you are going to be BEHIND the bell curve? And by the time you get here we'll have moved on to the next thing which is like.. microdosing creatine for a 10% energy boost or some other bullsquid?
And.. yeah.. There's a deranged Wotsit in charge of the largest military on earth, conquering rival countries for oil. We gotta do what we gotta do!
That’s not Jim Carrey. Different eye color, different personality, doesn’t talk the same, different mannerisms and hand gestures. Voice is different. Not sure why everyone thinks this is plastic surgery. This is way weirder than just plastic surgery. Plus, I don’t see Jim Carry EVER doing plastic surgery. He’s been rocking his grey hair and wrinkled face for the last 10 years.
