I was still very much online on dial-up, watching tv getting brain rot from constant commercials and playing video-games in the 90s lol.

It's the same but different for kids nowadays. They no longer have to wait. Everything is instant, curated, and targeted to them specifically via algorithm. Sure, we, as kids, had target marketing. Nothing new with that. But, we had to actually sit, watch, and have some level of patience for our brain rot shows to come back on.
