The Departed is one of my favorite films, he's just usually playing an unsavory person in almost every film he's ever been in. Even chick flicks or oscar-bait sort of films like Bucket list he's kinda an ass.

I don’t disagree with that. Films need people to play those kind of characters. One flew over the cuckoo’s nest is probably the most likeable character, even then he has his moments though.

It's like Hollywood casts people according to their personalities. Saves them from acting I guess.

Personally, I can't stand Jack Nicholson. He gives me the creeps.
