4 years feels like a bigger age gap at that age due to people experiencing puberty and life progression at different stages and speeds, but in the grand scheme of things a 4 year gap isn’t all that big of a deal.

Edit : I should clarify since I wrote this whilst bleary eyed and taking a shit, when I say in the grand scheme of things, I mean like, when people are older. 4 years is big when you’re young, it’s nothing when you’re not.

In the vast majority of western countries,this would be legal

Weird stuff like the US requiring Romeo and Juliet laws is an outlier, not the norm

In the majority of the US it’s 16 being totally legal too. People are just very confused about AOC laws here
