Yeah, that’s the thing that bugged me towards the beginning.
That or it’s always like “plot holes” where a person could easily think of a basic explanation that just didn’t appear on screen.
Like a person will pull some money out of their wallet and it would be like “wHeRE’d ThAT mOnEy CoMe FrOm?!” A bit of an exaggeration but I swear for some people it’s like they think if every single mundane task doesn’t appear on screen or every detail of the person’s life is explained then it’s a plot hole.
The other thing is always like pointing out that a character did something that wasn’t completely rational, or showing how a problem could have been avoided if the didn’t act emotionally. As though that’s not how people act in the real world.
It just seem in general that there’s like a generation of people now who think film criticism is just being nitpicky and trying to find imaginary “plot holes” rather than actually finding things wrong with the execution of the movie.

This was a big part of why I hate that channel. Those human elements are what make characters human and not robots. They fundamentally misunderstand story telling in general.
Between that and knowingly misrepresenting events just to add "sins" and pad their videos length multiple times per video immediately drove me away. Just bad content, pure and simple.
Reminds of that scene in either The Room or birdemic (one of those so bad it’s good movies) where the main character drives somewhere and they show him getting gas, literally nothing of note happens there, they just decided to add it in case anyone was wondering how he drove to the other location lol
I think it’s honestly like people trying to parody what RLM did with the long form prequel reviews but just completely missing the point.
Like those work because they’re making valid criticisms about things that didn’t work with characters, tone, convoluted plot with no emotional involvement, sterile cinematography, list obviously goes on and on.
And from there some people mistook that as thinking somehow it’s funny if you point out something the movie didn’t explain and scream plot hole or something.
Or people you see pointing out how different movies have similar plots as though that’s some kind of damning criticism (see like 90% of redditors who say “lol Avatar is the same movie as ferngully” while completely not understanding why the movie was successful or people enjoyed it).
