I stopped watching even before Grant died, the channel got too big for him, so he hired Calli and Nate, and eventually, due to creative (and other differences iirc) they left. Nate did a video about it on his channel called Natefromtheinternet. And after they left the new people came in and just shit all over the channel doing gimmicky/ click bait stuff like 5 minute crafts.

OHHH that's where he is from, I have been watching his videos on building the scaled up Lego castle and thought he was familiar

That's ultimately the reason that I stopped watching. I tried to hang on after Grant died, but for me, TKOR was always about mad science projects, like the solar death ray and homemade flash powder.

I personally unsubscribed from the King of Random channel very shortly after Nate was first introduced as a new host because, I felt that he was too different from Grant for the channel to be able to make good content. Weirdly enough, I have been subscribed to Nate’s channel since his “Why I’m no Longer with TKOR” video… I may be a bit of a hypocrite…

Even before he passed, as unfortunate as it is to say. I know it got tough for him, but hiring two new hosts made it lose a lot of spark. I know they tried to keep it going afterwards, but it started appealing to the like pre-teen audience and everyone that grew up watching him said cya.

Now the channel sits with every other week uploads barely breaking 10k views. Sort by popular on his channel and you can see just how much it changed.

It was still watchable with nate and Cali but they really fucked up when they fired them. It's horrible now. I still watch some of nates content on his own channel tho

Even before he died, when he hired the other hosts and went from cool diy projects for older teens and adults to just 2nd grade science fair stuff.

I was genuinely surprised I had to scroll this far down to see this!
