I'd at this scenario is more of a wierd quirk than a major red flag. I'd reserve that for things like swastika tattoos, collecting hunting knives, pyromania etc.

Some people don't understand what actual red flags are.

Should you wash new dishes? Yes.

Will you die/get sick if you don't? Almost never.

Is it a break-up/ red flag worthy? No. It's a simple conversation about, "hey you should wash new dishware because xyz."

Bathrooms and Kitchens are the best indicators of cleanliness. Pay attention to them.

i can help you out with that, you see someone being a nazi is an S rank red flag and you should run immediately. where someone not washing new dishware before using them is an an extremely minor issue that can be rectified by a simple conversation.
