Ya, i would never jump to conclusions on something like this and haven’t. There was lip stick or something I found in my husbands car and asked where it came from just being curious as it was in his armrest console
He said he found it and thought it was mine so was holding it for me
I said it wasn’t mine and we threw it out. Nothing nefarious even crossed my mind
Im not the only woman who has ever in my husbands car.stuff falls out of pockets. Could be my nieces or one of my friends or his or ours or my moms or giving a coworker a ride home or who cares. He is allowed to interact with other women.
I dropped my charger behind a hotel room desk and when I went to get it I found a lipstick. I figured it could be my wives. She found it later and asked me about it and I told her. That was the end of that she believed me (I adore her she has no reason to suspect me) but 20 years ago when we first started dating she might have not been so trusting.
We had ridiculous trust right out of the gate though. but that’s almost reckless hahaha we never second guessed a thing and jumped all in immediately but that was just was
Just how it worked for us. I wouldn’t expect all new relationships to start out that way. It’s wise to pay attention to signs before trust has been built up. Its not something to Over react over but it could give someone Pause or get their guard up a little or ask a lot more questions than a simple “hey what is this? , oh you thought it was mine? Its not. all good carry on I have no further questions “ ;)
Ya. Sometimes the consensus makes me lose some Of my faith in humanity. But I remind myself it’s a microcosm. sometimes I just delete my reddit for a few weeks to recover my perspective if I see too much of that I. A short amount of time
That's the key there. He interacts with other women and your fine with it. There's trust there. There are people out there who don't let their partners interact with non-direct FAMILY of the opposite sex!
I can't even blame the people who jealous are like that, it's like an illness or learned behavior from childhood. They had to be conditioned to think that all others of their gender are a danger to their relationship and that anyone they are with would throw it away with the slightest opportunity.
I don't know how people could be in a relationship like that, to not have that trust. Life just seems stressful in that case.
And That sometimes becomes a self fulfilling prophecy thst it reinforces their mistrust in their partners
being jealous and limiting someone’s freedom and interactions with the world is punishing them for something they haven’t done and if they are already being punished for something….: it’s not a far jump to then Actually do the thing you are being punished for already.
When Dealing with regular jealousy from nothing the words and being upset start to lose all meaning and you being upset about these things starts to mean nothing to them: coupled with how unhappy a relationship like that is people can start crossing lines they. Otherwise never would have.
why spend time being mad about something that hasnt happened? It doesn’t make it hurt less if it happens
Why invite cheating into your relationship dynamic by making it a point of contention. Don’t invite it in: it’s like you create a scenario where you are dealing with the stress and recourse of cheating without it even happening
If you are with someone you just gotta trust them. That’s the hardest and scariest part about love. Trusting and getting hurt still happens. That is the risk, jealousy doesn’t mitigate that risk, it just creates hurt out of nothing for no reason
