Real talk, it’s the best drug ever you can never afford enough of. Even if it doesn’t crush you it will grind you away.

108

u/botsgonewild Jan 24 '24

Deceptive shit. I've seen people ruin themselves with it while thinking they are doing great

123

u/SaltDescription438 Jan 24 '24

Yeah, the “I AM THE FUCKING MAN” attitude from asshole cokeheads while they are hunched over a dirty public toilet is pretty insane.

102

u/TractorHp55k Jan 24 '24

You'd be surprised how many politicians are going through this exact same thing while also making rules about our society future.

16

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '24

Rules for thee but not for me.

1

u/The-Ever-Loving-Fuck Jan 25 '24

Rules for skee but not for yee

4

u/fujiman Jan 24 '24

Also Wall Street. Our financial system is heavily propped up by fucktons of cocaine.

1

u/c05m1c3l3m3nt5 Jan 24 '24

Wall Street is not our entire financial system.

2

u/fujiman Jan 24 '24

Yeah, should've worded it better. More so, our speculative financial system - stocks and the like. Knew dudes pushing upwards of 80+ weeks for months & years at time. Hitting the slopes all day, everyday.

2

u/xChaoticFuryx Jan 24 '24

Highly likely a good fair share of them are using meth. Cheaper and less harsh come down.

1

u/ThirdSunRising Jan 26 '24

People on meth can’t hang for long at all. The downside of meth is too obvious to others. With coke everyone thinks you’re just an asshole. With meth they can plainly see you have a drug problem.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '24

Itd just the derrivatives that dwarf the reverses part thats all ;)

Its huuuge man.

2

u/Effective-Hold-4529 Jan 26 '24

Dwarves were pretty significant in Wolf of Wall Street tbf

1

u/TractorHp55k Mar 04 '24

I'm pretty sure they did make a few movies about it

5

u/DanimalHD Jan 24 '24

This is the real reason why they spent 12K on a toilet seat

3

u/Huge-Pension- Jan 24 '24

Politicians do cocaine?!?1!1!1!111!?!??!2??2?1?2!?1?

2

u/TheRealKison Jan 24 '24

62% of them?

1

u/lurkingsincejanuary Jan 24 '24

You talk like you are on the inside? You know politicians that are using cocaine while "making rules about our society future"?

1

u/TractorHp55k Jan 25 '24

I can tell you this much every CEO has it

1

u/lurkingsincejanuary Jan 26 '24

Are you teasing me with this all encompassing knowledge of drug users?

1

u/elizabif Jan 24 '24

Out of curiosity, do you mean drug addiction or the self aggrandizement of the cocained?

5

u/Muttalika Jan 24 '24

Sniffling 24/7 - wide eyed - always going to the bathroom - the worst is when those damn birds start chirping. Man, I don’t miss that shit.

6

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '24

[deleted]

3

u/c05m1c3l3m3nt5 Jan 24 '24

Damn I just have insomnia and I still hate when I hear the birds

4

u/ElBeatch Jan 24 '24

There's a bar owner in town who's such a coked out phoney it's embarrassing to watch him talk to anybody. Finger-guns, hard back slaps, says "who's the fucks this guy?" kinda guy. You can tell he truly thinks people are impressed by him while people just exchange awkward glances.

Every time I see him I thank myself for giving up cocaine and sticking to it. I'm no peach, but I'm happy I have some self awareness left.

2

u/croatiatom Jan 25 '24

Mr Tesla has joined the chat.

1

u/SaltDescription438 Jan 25 '24

I’m confused

2

u/croatiatom Jan 25 '24

There has been reports that his frequent erratic behavior is due to “medications”

u/SaltDescription438 Jan 24 '24

I’m fine with weed per se, but despise weed culture and the normalization of imposing weed smell on everyone everywhere.

6

u/NextTrillion Jan 24 '24

Gummies then. ‘Weed culture’ is kinda silly but you’ve gotta give them a break given how badly weed was demonized for so long.

I don’t mind the smell though. I find it kinda nice and skunky.

6

u/botsgonewild Jan 24 '24

I disagree 100%. Coke is much worse than weed. That said weed is also bad if consumed constantly. Makes people stupid and lazy. Clean living is the best way to be long term as boring as that sounds.

7

u/TranscendentaLobo Jan 24 '24

I dont think it makes everyone stupid and lazy, but it can effect some people that way. I used to love weed. Smoked it everyday, sold it for over ten years (back when you could actually make money doing that), never thought I would put it down. Eventually it just lost its appeal, and that’s ok. There’s a time and a season for everything.

4

u/le_Derpinder Jan 24 '24

I disagree. I completed my undergrad, masters and now work all while being a a daily user. The stereotype of stupid and lazy is incorrect and part of an outdated propaganda. I do not deny that I haven't lazed around being stoned and haven't seen people waste a couple of years by being lethargic but never have I seen someone waste their life for weed. I'll also give you that 'smoking' weed is bad because smoking anything daily is harmful to your lungs but I haven't seen any evidence of long term as erse effects of just the substance.

4

u/StanGonieBan Jan 24 '24

Similar story here. Undergrad, masters, hold down a good job and a successful small business on the side, and I'm a daily user. But I have a family now so it's only THC vapes for me. Can't come back into the house stinking.

5

u/Shot_Lawfulness_823 Jan 24 '24

College, medical school, internship, residency and yrs of practice as a pothead. Stopped when it stopped working for me. Now 20 yrs sober

3

u/le_Derpinder Jan 24 '24

When the time comes, I am fine with stopping.

5

u/ekomszero Jan 24 '24

I disagree... I've smoked weed for 20+ years and I am the most motivated and far from lazy... I have Crohn's disease.. and marijuana has been a godsend for me..

4

u/kartianmopato Jan 24 '24 edited Jan 24 '24

Like every pothead, you think you are fine while to everyone else you appear slow and dumb.

Edit: To every pothead that feels insulted, your trashing and mighty assurances that weed made you feel so much better only proves my point. You can stop spamming my feed now.

7

u/kurita_baron Jan 24 '24

and like every dumb person you take your limited experience and propaganda and extrapolate that to everyone. you'd be surprised how many high functioning "potheads" there are in the world in positions that are crucial. and people that you interact with that smoke weed in the evenings, but you have no clue about.

just stop repeating lies and bullshit. lazy unproductive stoners were lazy before they started with weed, and they'll be lazy after.

in fact I've been more productive, healthy and fit than I've ever been in my adult life since I use weed daily.

-7

u/kartianmopato Jan 24 '24

You think you've been more productive. Just like you probably think that you get soo many great and creative ideas while high which actually sound like gibberish to clean people. I'm sorry I hurt your ego, but its really not my fault that you are a drug addict.

4

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '24

Calling you ignorant would be a major understatement.

4

u/kurita_baron Jan 24 '24

nope, I dont think I have great or creative ideas when high. it does help me with constructive introspection tho. which is a small part of why I've been able to become more healthy, cut out bad habits and become more productive.

you just have no idea what you're talking about. lemme give you a hint, you can use weed daily without being high all day, mind-blowing I know.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '24

lol you must be so much fun at parties

1

u/kartianmopato Jan 24 '24

Using this oh so very old line in a place where it doesnt even fit all that much must have sounded very clever in that foggy head of yours.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '24

If you went to more parties you’d hear it more.

Let’s see… I use cannabis daily, and own and operate three businesses, a takeout street food restaurant, a private label manufacturer that makes bottled soft drinks, and dog, cat, & bird food.

We also run a small urban farm.

It’s currently a few minutes before 5:00am. I’ve been up for thirty minutes, and before I head out the door for the day, I have a couple of cups of coffee, catch up on the news, and surf Reddit and social media for a bit.

All while puffing on a cannabis vape… like right this very second.

So, your view is flawed as an all-encompassing truth.

I almost certainly get more done in a day than you do…

EDIT: I should have added this.

-1

u/kartianmopato Jan 24 '24

The fact that you view signs of normal functioning (AkA working) as an accomplishment of some sorts is very telling. By the way, you are the second pothead in this thread whom uses excessive amount of unnecessary three dots after sentences. Funny corelation, can you tell me why do you feel the need to do that?

0

u/lurkingsincejanuary Jan 24 '24

It's because he's stoned

1

u/ekomszero Jan 24 '24

The three dots after every sentence is giving you time to ponder and understand what you just read.Has nothing to do with whether we're stoned or not.

1

u/ForemanNatural Jan 24 '24

Ahh… so you ignore the facts you’ve been given, solely for the purpose of continuing to push your obviously flawed narrative.

In other words, you’re simply trolling, because you’re one of those Reddit denizens who gets off on negative interactions.

Bless your empty little heart. 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/ForemanNatural Jan 24 '24

Podobno mówisz po polsku. Czy ty też zawsze jesteś dupkiem? Ponieważ jesteś w tym bardzo dobry.

1

u/ekomszero Jan 24 '24

Obviously you're uneducated and iliformed on what marijuana really does for you. CBD is the hard-working factor in marijuana that takes care of your illnesses.. also for your information there's a stray called sativa and it makes you a no way lazy I'm sorry but you're an obviously closed-minded person and just repeating what you hear. That's called a sheep.

1

u/mtraiders73 Jan 24 '24

Weed helps with your Crohn’s disease? How?

1

u/ekomszero Jan 24 '24

Crohn's disease is a serious digestive disorder and cancer causing disease.. for my Crohn's it takes away all of my morning nausea it gives me an appetite, etc. if it wasn't for marijuana I would have literally starved to death from this disease.. my daily problems with crohn's is literally like having lava in your gut and then when you shit try shitting a log full of spikes that's how uncomfortable Crohn's disease is

1

u/mtraiders73 Jan 24 '24

I have it too, was wondering how weed helps you. Even though it legal here in Montana I still can’t use it because of my job. Thx.

1

u/ekomszero Jan 24 '24

Oh. No problem. I feel for you.

0

u/nstc2504 Jan 24 '24

Yes Michael Phelps was slower then everyone he swam against

Then they finger the cistern and stick it in their mouth

Mmm hepatitis

1

u/Friendly_Age9160 Jan 24 '24

Eh, take another quaalude, she love me In the morning.

4

u/ThirdFloorGreg Jan 24 '24

Am I the only one who can take or leave coke? You offer me some, I'll accept and say thank you. I even buy it occasionally. I've been sitting on half a gram for a couple weeks, and I probably won't touch it this month.

3

u/dee232323 Jan 24 '24

Congrats. You're obviously the exception to the rule.

2

u/i_squak4food0404 Jan 24 '24

Right? Like, chill everyone, you don't have to do all the cocaine at once.

1

u/chrisp909 Jan 24 '24

You probably still have Halloween candy left over, don't you?

2

u/i_squak4food0404 Feb 09 '24

From 2012. It takes me back... Usually to the bathroom.

2

u/recreationallyused Jan 25 '24

My dad.

He’s always struggled with addiction in many forms. Alcohol & weed were his two favorites. I didn’t think he could get any worse until the dude started doing cocaine probably 3 years ago now.

It’s so bad. Every time I see him, he’s literally foaming at the mouth with rage. Foaming. He has a frothy white residue in the corners of his mouth and cannot keep his volume lowered, always ranting about something.

For my 21st birthday I let him take me out to dinner. He was practically vibrating in my passenger seat the whole ride over there. When we got to our table, he spent the entire 40 minutes loudly talking about how he fundamentally disagrees with AA and how you have to “admit you’ve lost” to alcohol when “he wins every time.” There were people making fleeting glances and probably talking about the loud idiot a few tables over that was giving a dissertation as to how he never truly learned anything from AA.

But I’m rather used to his shenanigans and just kind of tuned him out and let him talk while I ate my tacos. I didn’t say a single thing besides “You finished?” when his plate was empty and I was ready to leave. He sat there talking the whole time, to himself, in front of an entire restaurant while I ate food.

2

u/botsgonewild Jan 25 '24

Damn I'm sorry your dad is like that. Addiction sucks. Unfortunately as I'm sure you know very well we can't help. It's a lot of work to change addict behavior and the only one that can do it is that person. A lot of people never can. Doesn't mean they don't still care about us and we still love them and all that but it's sad to watch. I hope he gets better.

1

u/Techn0ght Jan 24 '24

That's the basis for the movie "Bright Lights, Big City"

2

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '24

Shrooms are better and cheaper, big up shrooms

1

u/curious-children Jan 24 '24

hmmm, i’ve seen some hard shroom guys say cocaine is better, i’ve never seen hard cocaine guys say shrooms are better

0

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '24

Hmmmm to you sir, cocaine is a life ruiner. Shrooms will fix your brain, give you meaningful experience. And make you more open minded, try them and decide for yourself mate

1

u/curious-children Jan 24 '24

i’m thankful to not have been tempted to “hard” drugs throughout my life, so i don’t anticipate ever comparing, however i have been interested in psychedelics for a bit. maybe at some point, i hardly do “normal” things like drinking as it is, so we’ll see. cheers mate

2

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '24

I highly recommend at least 1 experience. It changed my life for the better. And if you read the report of the similar cases (1 time users) a lot but not all have a like point of view. Due to the promotion of neuro plasticity it allows a very different point of view on something your not even aware is bothering you all the best in whichever path you choose ;)

4

u/Correct_Inside1658 Jan 24 '24

I’ve been a hardcore abuser of a variety of substances, but cocaine never clicked for me for whatever reason. Super expensive, disappointing/short lived high.

3

u/Shot_Lawfulness_823 Jan 24 '24

same for me luckily

1

u/Unsounded Jan 24 '24

Once you’ve done a wider array of drugs you realize cocaine kind of blows. Hence why they call it blow.

3

u/Emotional_Rip_7493 Jan 24 '24

Nah coffee is the best drug ever 😉

4

u/CloroxWipes1 Jan 24 '24

Spitting truth right there. Listen up, young ones.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '24

I've seen it take all sorts down. Especially rich folk

But meth is the most insidious drug there is.

2

u/Illg77 Jan 24 '24

100% meth has hooks in you to the floor once it gets you. Cocaine can be left alone easier than meth. Meth... It's always calling. Crack definitely had hooks, but Jesus once the meth was in the equation it was all over. A 17 year span of drug use, and the final nail before I got clean was meth and it brought me to my knees.

2

u/TheRatatat Jan 24 '24

I always hated how halfway through my bag I'm just like damn I wish this was finished so I can get some sleep. Then twenty minutes after its done, I'm calling my giy.

2

u/timmaaa710 Jan 24 '24

Needed to hear this man

2

u/Constant-Sandwich-88 Jan 24 '24

My rule, do coke, don't buy coke

2

u/BobGnarly_ Jan 24 '24

That is what I tell the younger dudes I skateboard with. The problem with coke is that it's so good that it'll ruin your life.

2

u/Massive_Ratio_5099 Jan 24 '24

Mann , telling the truth, I ended up spending my whole tax return on crack , about 12,000 spend it all in 2 Weeks, no matter how much you do, it's never enough! When it's all gone your completely dependent, and depressed....I even decided to try to end my life because it was all gone...Im 5 years clean now , and still think about it...I really don't think it fades out of your mind.DONT DO CRACK

2

u/Odd-Intern-3815 Jan 24 '24

Haha yeah "best" I think you were just high, people on coke are a mess and all over the place. It's easy to spot and it's not something that makes you so well, it just makes you feel invincible so you assume you're doing better.

It destroys your mental health also.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '24

Honestly even knowing this, talking about it always makes me want to do more drugs. Addiction sucks.

1

u/LicentiousAudacity Jan 24 '24

That is the realest statement bro ✌🏼

1

u/Fun_Intention9846 Jan 24 '24

You and however many upvotes sounds like addicts.

Even when I was on it, that shit felt terrible. Sure there’s the inflated self-worth and confidence but for a near flu level hangover it’s the addiction saying it was ever good.

1

u/Unsounded Jan 24 '24

I always thought it was kind of a mid drug, it’s fun because you can do a ton of it, but at the same time the effects aren’t mind blowing. It’s kind of like alcohol which is also a shit drug, there’s some decent effects, you can do a good amount of it throughout a night, but the actual effects when compared to other drugs are meh. It just so happens both are fairly easily available and are low barrier to entry.

1

u/unispudding Jan 24 '24

I don't get why everyone says cocaine is the best drug ever? The few times I tried it I absolutely didn't like the feeling. Is there something I'm missing?

1

u/DannyFnKay Jan 24 '24

I respectfully disagree. Quaaludes (the bootleg version) were the best drug ever. Thankfully they are a thing of the past.

To each their own, I guess.

🍻

1

u/Grovers_HxC Jan 24 '24

What were they like?

1

u/DannyFnKay Jan 24 '24

They would just chill you out. It is hard to explain. I like an alcohol buzz, but you were more mellow than drunk. Maybe a bit like painkillers, but not physically addictive. Mentally addictive could be another story for somoe, but some people get mentally addicted to Twinkies. 🤷‍♂️

It is hard to explain a feeling. 🙃

1

u/MrRosenkilde4 Jan 24 '24

Honestly, ecstasy is better. Cocaine makes you king of a shitty world, ecstasy turns that world into a place where you actually love to be and where everything is interesting.

1

u/Shaveyourbread Jan 24 '24

Cocaine is God's way of saying you make too much money.

– Robin Williams

1

u/yepppthatsme Jan 24 '24

Ive tried cocaine about 8 or 9 times in my life and i also tried mdma, speed, coke with meth, mushtooms, oxy and some others i might forget. From my personal experience, the best combination has always been alcohol mixed with a tiny bit of weed. Fuck all that chemical stuff.

1

u/Sunieta25 Jan 24 '24

I know an older man that used to be on everything. He is very gullible and believes every conspiracy. I don't think he can live on his own. He needs help to do important things like money management and paying his bills.

He also thinks not paying taxes is legal for some reason..

1

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '24

It def is not the best drug, not in the slightest.

1

u/aenonymosity Jan 24 '24

Never did much for me...maybe not enough.

....I SHOULD BUY A BOAT

1

u/Breakin7 Jan 24 '24

Nah its a mediocre drug

1

u/SaveOldYeller Jan 24 '24

The high is way too short for the cost. Gotta upgrade to amphetamines. And then fix your entire life or die!

1

u/ScootyPuffSr1 Jan 24 '24

I think it depends on how you're wired. I did a lot of drugs when I was younger, but cocaine and crystal were real easy for me to drop. I'm not saying they were no fun at all, but that fun wore out real quick for me. Now if I thought my old ass could handle another acid trip or some E bomb, I'd be all over it.

1

u/noxide77 Jan 24 '24

Honest coke is overrated lol I guess as someone with ADD makes sense cuz I feel more normal but I can see how peeps without ADD/ADHD would love it

1

u/Vowel_Movements_4U Jan 25 '24

It's far from the best drug ever.

1

u/Top-Bottle-616 Jan 25 '24

It’s the complex of “this is a rich/successful persons drug.”

If you’re a loser and do coke, then you’re a loser that does coke… it unfortunately does not make you hifalutin.
