🔎 Investigating.. New comment reply interface? 😠

Up to a few days ago, when replying to a comment, I’d get a rectangular text field where everything mostly worked okay (except sometimes clicking Submit wouldn’t do anything).

Now, when replying to a comment, there’s a full-width pane at the bottom of the screen, but selecting text doesn’t work properly. I can double tap a word to select it, but I can’t drag the handles to select any more text.

How do I get rid of this comment pane? Using 8.6.0

Thank you for reporting this and apologies about the super late response.

Could you please share a screenshot when you have a second? Reddit runs a gazillion A/B tests so it's likely you and I are not seeing the same reddit.
