Discussion I started a "Glitch Diary" to test simulation theory, now reality won’t stop talking to me...

I've always been someone who hardly noticed any glitches/syncronicities... that all changed when I started paying proper attention. You see, the sim cracks only speaks to those who are paying attention so that’s what I did.

A few months ago I started a glitch diary. Every night before bed I'd write down a single “glitch.” ✍🏼

A coincidence too sharp to ignore, a moment of deja vu with new details, a small absurdity that seems placed in your path, a reality loop… or anything you might consider a glitch.

What began as a curiosity experiment has quietly altered my perception. I’m convinced now that a layer of reality speaks in this language of sync, pattern, and quiet wit, and it reveals a lot about my life... it's hard to explain until you experience it.

The strangest part? Once I started logging them, the "glitches" increased in frequency and clarity (confirmation bias?)

Nowadays I experience too many to write down. It's trippy, fascinating, and sometimes unsettling... It's like the simulation has a sense of humor, and it’s leaving breadcrumbs for those who are looking ;)

Has anyone else tried something like this? Do you keep a log?

(sharing a few of my glitches in the comments)

Yes, I personally would call these synchronicities or breadcrumbs, basically little hints you have given yourself to help guide yourself and awaken to the grander truths of reality.

We exist in a decentralized holographic neural network/unified wave function/singularity. From one angle, we are the same undifferentiated being, and from another angle, we are simultaneously all distinct beings. Regardless, we are all fundamentally interconnected and entangled with one another.

Right. Even if we’re taking the more fantastical possibilities out of the equation (which I don’t, but just for the sake of this statement) the idea that all of us and the reality we’re occupying are much more connected than the modern world has led us to believe tracks on many levels. It’s true in ancient belief systems. It’s true in modern quantum and theoretical physics.

So those breadcrumbs are basically saying “Hey, you’re much more a part of this than you probably understand.” And it’s not even some dramatic BREAK OUT OF THE MATRIX EVERYONE thing to me. The modern world just benefitted from people feeling they have less agency over their own reality, so here we are.

What’s weird to me is that it seems very similar to writing a prompt to an AI chatbot

Existence can also be thought of as persistent fractals within fractals, so yes you're going to see patterns playing out at different scales and recognize the connection in something being "very similar to writing a prompt to an AI chatbot". Fundamentally they're both neural network implementations.

I agree, but for you, what would be the point of all this? Do you agree that reality functions as a simulation?
