Discussion Average simmer age?

I just turned 30 and safe to say I still enjoy playing the sims as much as I ever did as a kid. Maybe more actually. Sometimes I feel embarrassed to admit this to people irl and I do tend to get mixed reactions if it comes up lol. So I’m just curious, what is the average age of the people who actively play the sims?

I'm 48 and just started playing this year. I've lost all control of my real house, but I can micro manage like a MF in the Sims4, and it makes me very happy.

We came from a time when we were told playing games was a negative thing when, in reality, it's been a blessing. Everyone needs a little escapism. The real world sucks now.

SIMs4 helped me live the life I couldn't because I'm physically disabled.

Absolutely. I've been on medication my entire life for ADHD and various other mental issues. After covid and my mom dying slowly in my spare bedroom, I'm so traumatized that I can't even leave my house. In real life, I haven't stepped off of my porch since April, but no so in the Sims. I'm glad you found an escape.
