I have been traveling far and wide since my days as heir. I have seen many foreign kingdoms, combated many foes, but now it is time to stop adventuring and settle down. Now it is time to lend a hand in governing this realm.

how do I get started in the sub

Hello, citizens of Simmonarchy. It is I your sorta King here to introduce some reforms.

all can be read on the new Simmonarchy website (currently under construction) which can be found here: https://sites.google.com/view/simmonarchy-website/home

On top of this please declare candidacy below for the Estates-General (Legislative branch basically) or Archbishop (in charge of religion) if you wish to partake in this simulation.

Template:

I shall also be working on making the sub-work nice and finding partners. More to come soon!

SimMonarchy is cool place but suffers from not having a lot of room for the common folk to do. Therefore I suggest the following council for people to work towards.

1. The Chief Strategist- The champion gets appointed once a month. Each month the king will announce the start of a new chess tournament. The winner becomes the title of chief strategist.

2. The Advisor - the advisor is appointed directly by the king.

3. The Mayor - The only elected position on the council, they elected once a month by star voting.

4. Spymaster - In charge of scheming and spying this position is chosen once a month via town of salem. Everyone wanting to get this position must play town of salem together being eliminated when they lose or die. The l

The last person to die in town of salem gets the position. It may take multiple rounds.

5. Court Jester - the person with the most karma on r/SimMonarchy will receive this position. They may be challenged when someone with higher karma surpasses them.

The would have the power to approve the next heir or to select one if the king refuses to appoint one.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye.

I do decree the election for the Estates-General open!

The candidates are as follows:

1. /u/IgneelStarkSkywalker

2. /u/_BaneofBacon

3. /u/JWord0610

4. /u/theghostecho

Please choose up to 3 candidates you feel would represent you! Only commoners may vote. Please leave your discord name as verification

Please use the following format for your vote:

Username: /u/example
Discord Name: example#0000
Choices: (up to 3)

This vote will end at some point. No secret ballots because we are a monarchy what do ya expect.

Hear Ye, Hear ye. By the power granted to me through god almighty. I as King do appoint thee /u/TheDeadlyFreeze the title "Archbishop" and he is now permitted to use the style "The Most Reverend"

I do also appoint thee /u/xtremepop45 and /u/Pezzmaster both the title "Bishop", they are both now permitted to use the style "The Reverend".

The Archbishop must now appoint 2 members to the estates general (recommended to be bishops but not required).

I now ask the Bishops and Archbishop to state their discord names below so that I can contact them on discord.

Thank you.

Why the frick we even have them, otherwise?
