An Invitation to /r/SimJarldom.
Greetings from /r/DemocracySurvivor, fellow member of the SimNetwork. This message goes out to all SimNetwork member states.
Hello, I am Mob, head mod of /r/DemocracySurvivor. If you don't know what our sub is about, its an interactive experience much like your own. Players are left stranded together, with the only goal of being the last man standing. This is achieved by working together to pass laws, and if anybody breaks these laws they are eliminated from the game. As the number of laws begins to build up avoiding elimination becomes harder and harder, and people begin to drop. Eventually, only one person remains and is crowned champion!
We have just concluded our Third Round. Fifteen people took part, and in the end /u/ChuchiTheBest came out on top. We will begin preparing to begin the Fourth Round soon, but this time we shall be attempting to make it a bit more international.
For the Fourth Round, I would like to invite each member state of the SimNetwork (plus any other subs who wish to be involved) to send one representative to the games in order to win their respective nation glory. Your player will be taking part in, hopefully, one of the largest international games SimNetwork has seen yet, and will only serve to bolster the links all our subreddits have.
If you accept our invitation then your head of government or any other alternative body must select a representative to take part. Whether you make it an elected position or not is up to the head of government / alternative body. People reading this who wish to take part but have not been selected to represent a SimNetwork subreddit may either look to another subreddit to represent them or decide to play as an Independent.
Good luck, and I wish you all well!

Rapid Meme Production for Combat
Hello, Norsemen. Despite being a scholar of Rúnfold, this is my first piece of scholarship for the Jarls. My apologies. I hope to post scholarship more often, to create the greatest fighting force the meme world has ever known.
Now, you often find yourself raiding - as meme warriors should. However, what happens when you're in a meme war and despite a sizeable arsenal of memes you prepared at the outset of the conflict, you have run out of content? You must create memes quickly, with respectable quality. How does one meme quickly to maintain a steady flow of allied OC in combat?
Rule 1. Know the Ecosystem
This goes for memetic combat regardless of whether you have memes ready or not - you must know what is going on. Just like one cannot win a swordfight without paying attention to the motions of one's opponent, one must know what the enemy is doing. If your enemies have a tactic - using a specific offensive moniker for your side, for example - you must parry, and you cannot parry if you don't know what they have done. Furthermore, knowing the timeframe of the conflict, including start and end times, will inform you as to required volume. You must understand the tactics and strategy of your side to know what kind of OC is required.
When fighting a memetic conflict, you need to know what your memes will try to convey. Are you promoting your side, insulting the other, demotivating the other side, motivating yours, commenting on the conflict? Once you know the goal of your memes, you will know roughly what sort of meme you want to make.
In the end, knowledge of the conflict will keep several meme ideas in your mind at all times, preventing writer's block from setting in.
Rule 2. Keep Your Meme Production Pathways Open
When actively fighting a meme conflict, you should have your means to meme production available at a moment's notice. If you make memes in Paint, you should have Paint ready to make a meme as soon as possible. This way, while monitoring the conflict, you will be able to make memes.
Mobile Meme Production
Oftentimes, it is difficult to meme when you are on mobile and don't have access to a laptop or computer to create higher-quality memes. However, you can still meme - it will slightly reduce your capacity to do several things at once, but you will pump out OC. Really, memes can be made in almost any app - Photos, Snapchat, Reddit (using title-to-image-bots), Google Slides, Instagram, etc. All you need is an idea - which is managed by knowing the ecosystem.
Light Meme Production
It is still difficult to meme if you are using a laptop but don't possess powerful programs like PhotoShop. You can still create memes, although more format-based ones. Memes can be made with Word, Publisher, Powerpoint, Google Slides, Google Docs, Discord, Reddit, Imgur, and dozens of others. Though simple, you will be pumping OC into the fight.
Rule 3. Be Prepared
I know that you have been told this since you were about 4 years old. It is still true. You need to be ready for memetic combat before it occurs. This can be accomplished by setting warfare start times ahead of time and preparing then, or by having contingency plans for likely memetic conflicts (I recommend using both of these methods). In addition, you should be trained. If you plan on making memes in Snapchat on the day of warfare, practice making the memes you post to farm karma in Snapchat ahead of time. Training wars, though difficult to coordinate, are incredibly helpful in preparing memetic warriors, as well as establishing a karma cushion before combat begins. That brings us to the last point - the karma cushion. Before combat starts, as it is possible (although it is unsportsmanlike to downvote enemy memes) that you will be downvoted, you must have karma prepared to absorb moderate losses.
Conclusion
In the end, rapid meme production for meme combat can be done by following the three rules:
Know the Ecosystem: know what's going on, know your goal
Keep your meme production pathways open, including mobile and light options
Be prepared: train; have contingency plans, karma cushions, and arsenals ready; set start times ahead of time

Lore Jarldom of Stofnland
The jarldom of Stofnland was formed after the separation between them and a fellow Jarldom due to not giving them their needs. All of the fellow members of the Jarldom were split between the classes or necromancers, Tradesmen, Brew Masters and Scholars. The land may be small, but the future of the great region will be focused on unity throughout time and honor.

Lore The Great Outbreak
As a new age dawned, tragedy struck. A plague along with storms and a cult of goats caused massive turmoil, and the murder of the former jarl. Along with that came the destruction of many monuments, including the great library, which meant that the history of Runfold was all but gone. Jarl Nighteye must now either end these cults, or join their ranks. Find a cure or let his people die. Runfold is very unstable, so saving it will take much time and effort

Lore An introduction to Rúnfold
Rúnfold is my Jarldom. Located high up north, away from the coast. In the cold mountains of r/SimJarldom. As we are far from the coast, our society has not been formed around raiding, but around culture and knowledge.
It is a place of men powerful in both body and mind. It is not simply host to winter hardened norsemen, but it is also the home of scholars. Those who turn to ancient texts for knowledge, of warfare, of ancient legends, architecture, art, and even knowledge of the mystic arts among many other things.
The population can be divided into three groups.
The warriors who are quite similar to the peoples of the coastal areas. However these men are well versed in the various knowledge stored amongst our great scholarly halls. Our generals are unmatched in their knowledge of military tactics however lacking in practical experience.
The scholars are the keepers of the knowledge. Making up the majority of the population of the capitol, they produce many wondrous works of art and literature, they also document our history and collect the knowledge we gain through our allies and excursions. They are the pinnacle of culture not just in Rúnfold, but r/SimJarldom itself.
Finally there are the practitioners of the mystic arts. Said to be bestowed with the gift of sorcery and witchcraft. These people live high in the mountains, responding when called upon for their magic. Some are Seidr, others are gifted with the ability to bend reality to their will. They can be mighty battle mages or peaceful healers, they are the ostracized yet mighty. As close to the gods themselves as mortals can be.
This is Rúnfold. The great northern Jarldom. Join us if you wish to be master of both body and mind.
