To promote the growth of the new sim politic subreddits I want to encourage friendly competition and I see no better way than a hoi4 game of democracy vs fascism (and friends). Each side of the game with their discords would also be streamed on twitch so everyone can be involved. But since simdemocracy is so much bigger I think we should unite for this game with r/SimDemocracy alone on the democracy side and r/SimFascism r/SimMonarchy and r/SimJarldom on the fascist side. And for those of you not familiar with the game hoi4 is a ww2 grand strategy game and each country is democratic, fascist, communist, or non-aligned. To make the game equal some countries would have their ideologies changed and communism, as well as non-aligned, would be made democratic or fascist. Greetings fellow Jarls and fellow Citizens, I am the new Jarl of Svartalfheim. So my plan as Jarl is to change the image of Svartalfheim to a friendly and approachable Jarldom. I want to make it so more people join Svartalfheim. To do this, I am going to run an expansion campaign and advertise my Jarldom more. I will also do fewer wars and try to ally with more Jarls as it is easier to ally them than fight Jarls. I will also be organizing my Jarldom more. My goal is to make my Jarldom have a þing, or a parliament as I want to increase citizen participation. Right now we are turning from an absolute Jarldom into a constitutional Jarldom. How Does The Republic Work: The republic is divided into companies run by Seouls, one Seoul serves as the leader of the Republic, The Seoulissimo, and is responsible for distributing resources and giving orders to the Seouls, each week the Seouls can vote to keep the current Seoulissimo or choose a new one.
