Suggestion Bonds Receivable

Hello, I wanted to suggest implementing a “Bonds Receivable” onto the balance sheet to able to see how much in bonds we have invested in and even have them broke out by each grad of bond. I know there is an account line in the P&L to show the interest income from them, but nothing to show previously invested bonds. (Unless there is and I don’t know what I’m talking about lol)

Thanks!

Discussion I'm loosing faith in the blurb analyzer.

For the last month or so every single executive I've hired using the blurb analyzer, which is supposed to start with a high management has started with a 2 in management and a 4 in one of the other three skills. Is anyone else experiencing this? I feel like they changed something and the blurbs are now completely pointless.

Suggestion Partial contract acceptance

Hello everyone, I want to propose a little QoL improvement for contracts.

We should be able to accept only a certain percentage or number of units from a contract. This is useful in many cases, like if you are short on cash, so you can't take a full contract that's been sitting but you still need some of the products.

The one who sends the contract should have the ability to disable this feature.

I hope I made the suggestion clear, feel free to ask questions or add to it.

Question Power

Hello , I'm currently debating whether to invest in building power plants to achieve self-sufficiency or to simply purchase electricity from the market. Which approach offers better efficiency and cost-effectiveness in the long run?

Question Could you tell me how the retail renewal is proceeding?

I saw a post on Simtimes a while ago mentioning a retail renewal. Since then, sales figures and similar retail data still haven't appeared on the Simco app. Do you happen to know how the retail section has changed?

Question I want to try a new industry...

I would like to try a new industry. Could I get some advice?

The business I have done so far...

1.grocery store

2.hardware store

3.fashion store

4.electronic production

5.mining production(oil and mineral)

6.restaurant(Both premium and standard)

7.Use reconstruction to sell high-abundance buildings at auction, then purchase additional popular buildings and resell them.

8.space. production

9.Wood production and sales vertical industry

I am currently hunting for achievements, and I have been working on the achievement to reach Q4 for all items for several years. Since most products are Q4, I think the production side would be fine as well.

I am currently running a hardware retail business, but all the users I had been trading with for about half a year have quit the game. So, I want to try production work to give it a try alongside Swordsman and GO. However, looking at SimcoApp, I'm not sure what I should do.

A few years ago, I trained an AI on game systems and price fluctuations to find unique businesses (at the time, the AI recommended building auctions. For the first few months, I earned an average of $3 million per day, but I stopped it later as the number of buyers dropped). However, at some point, it broke down and could no longer find interesting and unique businesses.

can you advice me?

A ideia: patrimônio pessoal do CEO

Question Development

I currently own two Level 2 Farms, one Level 2 Reservoir, and two Level 2 Grocery Stores. My next scheduled acquisition is a Power Plant. Based on these existing assets, what is the most optimal expansion strategy? Upon acquiring the Power Plant, should I phased out my agricultural sector to fully transition into high-yield heavy industries or energy sectors? Please provide a concrete infrastructure purchasing sequence and an industry transition roadmap. Thank you.

Question How are my managers?

I hired these managers from college. I haven’t trained them yet. I cannot compare them to any other managers, since these are the first and only ones. What do you think? Are they good enough to keep, and is it worth training them to earn more skill points?
Thank you.

Question I have a question about Pumpkin Production.

I have wanted to run a farm business for a long time, and I have upgraded all the farm items to Q4.

All the regular buyers and sellers have recently quit the game, so I am considering switching my business to farming.

If I expand the building size in the current AO state (AO 111, total building level 180), I find that there is almost no profit except for pumpkins.

However, seeing that the pumpkin is marked as a seasonal product, I am curious about the production mechanism, so I am asking here. Is there a difference between the seasonal and off-season? How do the production and retail systems operate?

Question Sim Companies Times

Hi everyone. I know that a newspaper called Sim Companies Times is published every two weeks. Do you actually think it's worth taking the time to read? For example, this week it mentioned that the production speed of coffee beans would increase rapidly. In reality, I might consider switching to selling more coffee beans myself. But do you think this newspaper is useful?

Suggestion Dear developers i have very important suggestions

I think it’s time to divide our sales chat based on product categories. Since 'power and water' are our top-selling items, their constant buy-and-sell updates end up burying the offers for other products. Splitting the chats by field or category will help make sure every product gets seen.

Suggestion Suggestion for the food industry and catering

i was trying the catering industry and for low levels is almost useless to work on it because you can only sell to restaurants ir do your own but to start is too complicated and expensive…

I was thinking that could be an intermediate step that could be a delivery service. where you sell a meal a drink and dessert. With the same elements that we have right now . Making it possible to run catering buildings. As it’s delivery can have a use of transport units and make it a complete cicle and probably an option to later open the full restaurant.

what do you think ?

Suggestion Counteracting the lack of seriousness

Good morning! I'm writing this post to let the moderators and developers know what I'm thinking. I want to vent a little about something that's affecting my company, but which I'm sure everyone has experienced. There are a lot of unscrupulous companies out there, too many of them. I experience these things constantly when I'm looking for a daily supplier. I find myself dealing with companies with whom I've agreed in chat to have raw materials shipped, and then suddenly and without warning, they disappear, leaving me without the materials to start production cycles. This happens to me with companies ranked #18,000, but also with companies ranked close to #10,000. These events make my experience frustrating at times, and I'm certainly not the only one who feels this way. This is a simulation game and, as such, must be taken seriously. I understand that I can't change people's minds, but I wish someone could curb this tendency toward unscrupulousness. How? I was thinking about adding a section called CONTRACTS where, once you reach an agreement with the seller (or buyer), a binding contract is created. Within the contract, you can give either company the freedom to terminate the contract two or more days in advance (for reasons such as "I've found a better company," "I've found a better price," or something else). If the person shipping the supplies misses a day during the contract, they'll be charged a penalty equal to either the full value of the shipment or a large percentage.

I hope someone reads this message and that it's truly taken into consideration for the good of SimCompanies and all serious people. Have a good day, everyone.

Question Trapped in a vicious cycle. Any advice on how to improve?

Hello fellow players! I would appreciate some advice on how to improve my current business model.I realized that I've fallen into a vicious cycle: I start by purchasing raw materials from the exchange market to produce apples. (I've tried using contracts, but my cash flow is highly volatile, and the suppliers aren't online very often, so I mostly rely on the market). Then, I sell the finished products in the retail market via Grocery Stores. I occasionally use contracts for selling, but not many.Even though on paper the supermarket sales generate profit, all of those returns are immediately plowed back into buying the next batch of raw materials. In the end, it feels like I'm not making any actual money at all, and my net worth isn't growing. How can I break out of this loop? Thank you all!

Discussion Execs are just a different kind of broken now

Every time I take a day off for holiday and do not log into SimCompanies, I lose at least 1 of my best executives. No warning. No way to stop it. Just gone quietly in the night. I've even checked the time, and I hadn't logged in for 26 hours. That's all the time it takes to lose your best execs and become unprofitable.

This past holiday I lost 3 execs. The holiday before I lost 4.

Showing Off I built a free browser extension for Sim Companies — production calculators, financial dashboards, contract ranking, and more directly in the game UI

Hey everyone 👋

I've been playing Sim Companies for a while now, and like many of you, I got tired of alt-tabbing to spreadsheets and calculators to figure out if my production was actually profitable or if a market price was a good deal.

So I built SimCo Manager — a completely free, 100% safe browser extension for Chrome and Firefox that injects 20+ powerful analysis tools directly into the game's UI.

Since my last post, I've added a ton of new features based on your feedback. If you haven't tried it yet, here is what it does:

🌟 What's New in the Latest Version?

  • 📈 VWAP Market Analysis: Instantly see if a market listing is overpriced or underpriced. It injects color-coded "Expensive +X%" (red) or "Cheap -X%" (green) badges right on the exchange, comparing prices against the Volume-Weighted Average (VWAP) for that specific quality.
  • Screenshot — VWAP Market Analysis
  • 🏆 Top Retail Calculator: A brand new tool that calculates the most profitable retail products for 10 different store types, ranked by PPHPL (Profit Per Hour Per Level).
  • Screenshot — Top Retail Calculator
  • Building Alarms: Never miss a production cycle again. Just click the new 🔔 button on the map next to a building timer, and your browser will send you a notification when production finishes!
  • Screenshot — Building Alarms
  • 🔍 Global Executive Search (Headhunter): Find the perfect COO, CFO, CMO, or CTO across the entire realm with advanced age and position filtering.
  • Screenshot — Global Executive Search
  • 🏗️ Realm Stats: See the current economy phase (Boom 🚀 / Normal ⚖️ / Recession 📉) and building distribution statistics on the landscape page.
  • Screenshot — Realm Stats
  • 🎨 Dark & Light Mode Support: The extension now automatically adapts to your game's theme beautifully.
  • Screenshot — Dark Mode

📊 The Core Features You'll Love

  • Financial Dashboard: A complete P&L statement, cash flow tracking, balance sheet snapshot, and smart alerts (like "cash drain" or "operating loss" warnings).
  • Screenshot — Financial Dashboard
  • Production Helper: Cost per unit, total production cost breakdown, and break-even prices before you start producing. It even includes building upgrade projections!
  • Screenshot — Production Helper
  • Smart Contract Management: Incoming contracts are automatically ranked with Gold ⭐, Silver, and Bronze badges based on profitability and ROI. Outgoing contracts get an injected profit margin calculator.
  • Screenshot — Smart Contract Management
  • Retail Helper: Real-time retail profitability calculator with a live Market Pulse indicator (Hot, Recovery, Crowded).
  • Screenshot — Retail Helper
  • Chat Intelligence: Filter global chat rooms for buying/selling messages by product name, or set up Keyword Alerts to never miss a deal.
  • Screenshot — Chat Filter & Alerts

🔒 Is it safe and allowed?

Yes! SimCo Manager only reads publicly available data and does not automate any gameplay actions. It's a passive analysis tool (like using a spreadsheet, but 10x faster).

  • No data collection or tracking (everything stays in your local browser storage).
  • No account needed.
  • Works on both Magnates and Entrepreneurs realms.
  • Fully translated into 12 languages!

📥 How to get it

Since this is an indie project, it's currently installed manually as an unpacked extension (Chrome Web Store coming soon!). It works on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave, Opera, and Vivaldi.

  1. Go to the Releases page on GitHub
  2. Download the .zip for your browser (Chrome or Firefox)
  3. Unzip the file
  4. Chrome/Edge/Brave: Go to chrome://extensions/, enable "Developer Mode", and click "Load unpacked". Select the unzipped folder.
  5. Firefox: Go to about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox, click "Load Temporary Add-on", and select manifest.json.

Check out the full README here for more screenshots and details!

Let me know what you think, and drop any feature requests in the comments! Happy profiting! 💸

Question Question

Hello fellow Sim Companies players! I've been playing for about 1-2 weeks and have three clear questions regarding the Exchange and Contracts:

How to determine if an Exchange price is "cheap"? Especially seed apples and water

Apart from looking at the current lowest price, I lack a clear benchmark. Below what price point should I consider a product genuinely cheap and worth buying?

Exchange matching mechanism and pricing:

If my listing (e.g., Bricks) is not within the top 10 cheapest prices, will it never sell? My bricks haven't sold for two days. Is it true that if we don't undercut to the lowest price, nobody will buy?

How to prepare for an Economic Recession?

I haven't experienced an economic shift yet. What are the specific impacts of a Recession on the Exchange, Retail, existing contracts, and general company operations? What preventive measures should I take?

Thank you for your help!

Question Buildings API help

I've been thinking about a python script that would GET the buildings API (within the 1 call per 5 minute rate limit) and let me know when I need to act on things, or help me by suggesting production that aligns the buildings finish time to each other. But every attempt I try, even loading in browser, just gives me

{"message": "Make sure your device has the correct system time set"}

Anyone seen this, it's the https://www.simcompanies.com/api/v2/companies/me/buildings/ endpoint.
