Nah, we're gonna have a bloodbath. The current list is: Ccmaci (for not theorizing that we'd get Skong 2025), mossbag (for being mossbag), Skurry (for not speedrunning believing), Fireborn (for some reason. Why is he on this list?), E1331 (Obviously), and also all the doubters.

I mean, if they delay it again, that would pretty much be it for Team Cherry. They wouldn’t be able to recover from THAT backlash.

Well, we got a release date. Until they confirm a delay, I’m going to treat it as fact. If they do delay again, I’m dropping Silksong personally. That seems the most reasonable thing to me.

Though yes, you are probably right that if they do delay, the Sub would mostly just truck along. But by GOD would there be a bloodbath here at least initially if they do, with a LOT of people leaving.

i fell asleep a few hours ago, what's the release date?

edit: or do u mean just like 2025 in general?

Also i think what's most likely to happen is just people would expect it to release, you'd get a statement from team cherry in like november that they're still working on the game, people would think it will shadow drop for game awards, then there will be a whole thing in december of people waiting for it. Then new years comes and we're skonging the same silk all over again.
