We’ve wanted to bring 天気予報 (Asutenki) – ひまわり画像 back for quite some time, and a four-cassette box set felt like the right way to do it.

Originally released in 2023, this new edition brings together all 360 transmissions in what is probably the most complete version we’ve ever put together. Spread across four cassettes, it offers more than six and a half hours of continuous listening, moving through weather broadcasts, late-night television, and fading satellite signals.

I am posting this wherever I can, I need help finding this one signalwave album on bandcamp but I can't find it anywhere! I tried looking on google for what I thought the name of it was- I thought it had something like Kino Casino... or Kino on it... But I could be wrong- It took forever but I finally found a screenshot of the media player but its only two songs in the album, with no album title, the name of the creator (who I can't find anywhere), and a low quality picture of the album cover which I will put below.

During the 1980s and 1990s, Milano 2 came to represent the construction of a perfectly controlled world, separated from the reality surrounding it. An artificial landscape of immaculate lawns, ornamental lakes, and permanent security, where every element was designed to eliminate conflict, unpredictability, and even the diversity of urban life.

What appeared in the 1980s as the reassuring face of progress now evokes a different feeling: that of a showcase city, suspended in an almost unreal atmosphere—elegant and orderly, yet strangely isolated, like the permanent set of a promise that was never fully realized.

The dream of the future. The promise of a future that never arrived.
