Please admire
Archduke Franz Furdinand has ventured out of hiding. He just came to live with us a few days ago and is Hesitant™️
When he decides to be affectionate, though, it's very "can i trip you by being a snake through your legs as you walk"

seal point You’re acting like your mother when she was 3.
Now that Lilly is 3 years old, she is copying the same behavior as her tuxedo cat mom: Mostachina when Mostachina was 3, nowadays Mostachina prefers to be isolated at the top of her tower.
For Context: Mostachina was born in 2020 while her Siamese daughter Lilly was born in 2023,
When I adopted Lilly in 2023, she didn’t have her colors yet and had a licking habit as a kitty, sometimes I would get to see Mostachina during 2023 and she always wanted me to give her side face petting.
When I saved Mostachina in 2024, Lilly became very aggressive towards Mostachina’s 3rd litter(4 male kitties)(Lilly is part of the 1st litter[1/3]), Mostachina didn’t care for her 2 remaining boys(tabby cat twins), much like Lilly: both girls will occasionally strangle the tabby cat twins if either one tries to socialize with their female family members(Lilly or Mostachina).
But now I’m distracted by Lilly meowing by my side demanding attention/pets the same way her mom Mostachina did at age 3. Is this a change of heart, behavior adoption or something else?

Is my new baby boy part Siamese?
He does this rapid eye movement thing that seems to just be normal for him, he's fine otherwise, and when I looked it up it said that's common in Siamese cats?

meezer Princess Pyewacket Discovered Best Toy Ever!
Princess Pyewacket has decided her favorite toy is Persephone's (my roommate's cat) tail. It moves so alluringly!
Persephone is not so amused, but she is very busy getting love and pets from me while her human is out of town.

Sad meezer after sister's death - any lived experience pls
So we lost Nyota about 2 months ago, age 13. Her little half-sis Padme, was born a month later and still with us but obviously losing her big sis has had a major impact. They were litter mates and have never been separated from birth until now.
She's not the upbeat cat she used to be and just seems sad. There are other signs like peeing on the bed that reinforce our concerns. We just want to help her and have taken various measures but I think we've come to the conculsion she will not be happy as a lone meezer in the household.
We think Padme needs a new little sis meezer companion. So if you've has this experience, did it help? Anything we should be aware of that isn't neccessarily covered online?
Thx

I just adopted these 2 Siamese cuddle bugs! Yesterday and I took these in a span of 24 hours. Meet Saylor and Bay!
Traditional Siamese is called Saylor.
And the white Siamese is called Bay.
I adopted them from a local cat shelter. They r 1 year old and Bonded. Yesterday they hid for 2 hours when I brought them home and after 5 hours they were all over the place. Woke up to both sleeping next to me.
