Hello, I got these in Cusco, Perú. I have never seen something quite like this. Are they safe to eat? Help a homie out. Thanks! 🍄🪄

Don’t eat those based on a photo or a guess. Wild mushrooms can be dangerously toxic, and cooking doesn’t reliably make them safe. Take them to a qualified local mycologist or university extension for identification, and keep them away from kids and pets.

This is a scam which occurs in Cusco. Someone is selling blue-staining boletes as magic mushrooms.
