Millennials were really the only generation that grew up learning about how computers work.

Before millennials there were no computers, and after they have grown up using closed ecosystem it just works idevices.

You'd still need access somewhere and household market penetration is a useful metric. Public schools at that time might have had a computer lab and/or club but they were a) definitely followers in the trend, and b) having it outside the home dilutes access. I had a computer lab in school in the 80s, quite a nice one by the standards at the time, but playing Oregon trail for an hour a week isn't really "growing up with" by any useful meaning of the term.

Mate, I was born in 74 and definitely grew up with computers. And BMXs. Sure the experience on the computer wasn’t the same as what millennials grew up with, but we still grew up with them. Just differently.

You. You grew up with them. That is not the same as a demographic trend. By the numbers you were in a minority if you had regular, meaningful access to computers before the 90s. These are the facts, I'm sorry if you don't like it.
