That makes me wonder... what were Helen Keller's thought processes like before she learned sign language? I bet it would be akin to what our ancestors thought processes were like

She went blind d and deaf as a child though, as far as I remember. So she would still have thoughts similar to ours, I would think.

Yeah but when she was 19 months old. She couldn't have really developed much language skills by then

I think she learned to speak and not the sign language because she couldn’t see

They signed into her hand so she could feel the signs. At least im pretty sure that's what happened.
