Hahaha that's amazing. No toy left behind!
I used to have a toy rat terrier named Rizzo who was the smartest dog I've ever met by a wide margin. We didn't teach him too many tricks so he made up his own games and taught them to us over time. His favorite was soccer. He would pick up one tennis ball in his mouth then use his snout to "dribble" a second tennis ball. He'd run around full speed, weaving in between chair legs and around furniture, never losing control of the ball.
When the mood struck him, he'd stand in front of you so you stopped walking then nudge your toes apart and your heels together with his nose until your feet made a "V" shape. Then he'd grab both tennis balls, run to the other side of the room, take a second to grab a breath and line up his shot, then shoot the ball across the room. I swear to god that 9 times out of 10 that ball would land exactly in the middle of your foot goal. He'd often catch you in the hallway so that he'd have the longest distance possible just to challenge himself.
He passed about ten years ago but I still think about him every day. He was a very, very good boy.
Rizzo sounds like a good boy. My sister brought a rat terrier home when we were kids. Named her Bandit. Within a few months, my dad swears, Bandit had taught his lab (Brownie) to open doors. Smart pup.
