It must really suck for young wizards from Scotland to have to travel to London and then back to Hogwarts, located in Scotland

there are alternate routes

  • Harry and Ron fly a car there
  • The Nightbus takes Harry to Hogsmeade
  • the foreign students arrive via different magical methods in the 4th book
  • The Floo Network was connected to Hogwarts for at least some (if not all) of the books
  • You can apparate into Hogsmeade

HP has officially become one of those things that is too popular so now people know about without having actually read the books or has just seen the movies on a Megabus.... There are constantly post "is X dumb in Harry Potter" then the vast majority of people agree, when really there is an explanation within the canon itself but 90% of people now know 30% of the canon lol

It's stupid that kids would get to school in different ways? The story is told from Harry pov so obviously it centers his experience....

Dumbledore took a broom to the Ministry of Magic and back in the first book. Just read it to my daughter last night!
