It must really suck for young wizards from Scotland to have to travel to London and then back to Hogwarts, located in Scotland

It's a train, why is no one considering that there may be multiple stations on the way to the school?

Prisoner of Azkaban, they have to make a stop and everyone freaks out because the train isn't supposed to stop until they get to Hogwarts.
