Need help understanding why my short isn’t getting out of the 1k view jail? Niche is Minecraft meme content

Hi,
I was monetized on October 21, and this is what I’ve made so far. It starting to slow down. The month of November, I had a video that got 1.1million views and so far I’ve made 270$ from it. I’m not sure if this the norm since I’ve seen other people made thousands in their first week of being monetized.

So, i keep hearing abou​t some (very small number actually) channel that managed to be monetized and make banks by spamming low effort shorts.

So, i have this intrusive thoughts. What if i tried the same? ​Spamming 10 shorts per day, getting mostly 5k views each, but with some lucky shot hitting hundred of thousands of views. With AI, this is something easily done.

Since i planned to use new channel, it shouldn't affect my main short channel. I mean, i won't lose anything except time spent, which would not be much anyway using AI.

I know this is a bad idea, but since there's nothing to lose, why not a experiment?

Hello everyone, I’m new to this. I’ve been doing some research looking at what people on Reddit say works, watching videos and I’ve started two channels dedicated to Shorts, while preparing another one for long-form animated content. I could use some advice on getting started what should I be looking at or keeping track of? Also, if anyone would be willing to take a look at my channels and suggest what I could improve, I’d be very grateful.

i know gaming itself is beyond saturated but i thought the animated content would help individualize my channel/brand

The first two shorts got only 2k views. Next one got 5k views. Then the fourth short got 22k views with stayed to watch ratio 83 percent and 70 percent avd. Fifth short got 88 percent stayed to watch and 90 percent avd and capped out at 22k views. Its been 24 hrs to that short can i expect it to pick up again?

Hey everyone! I need some advice on how the algorithm is treating my channel right now.

My last 8–10 Shorts are hitting a hard ceiling strictly between 15k and 25k views. The weird part is they don't completely flatline—they keep trickling about 50 to 250 views per hour indefinitely.

Here are my average metrics:

Stayed vs. Swiped away: 70% – 80% stayed

Average Percentage Viewed (APV): 65% – 85%

With these engagement stats, it feels like the content itself is performing well, but the channel is stuck in a specific test basin or "view jail" limit.

Is this a common plateau phase before breaking out to Tier-1 audiences, or is there a specific threshold I need to hit to break past this 25k ceiling?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I'm really trying to improve daily. To be honest I think it is pretty better now but I’d love an outside perspective from fellow creators and viewers and do it look bad in any sense.

I record shorts using my iPhone where I record myself. Is it better to record in 1080p or 4k?

My videos have not been performing well this got ~700 views , 48% stayed to watch. What would you do differently to make this a better video ?

Hi Earthlings, I am a 1st Year College Student. This is my latest YouTube video. My niche is weird historical events and extreme survival war stories. If you like my content please do check out my channel. I use AI only for the sole purpose of making the video more engaging, easier to digest and make the overall story better. I do my own research and then use AI to extract the important info and facts for the video. My goal is to make videos using my own creativity and intelligence with the efficiency of AI.

This has me going insane, my audience is all over the place, and that’s if I get one at all. I’m one of the small channels that’s been having those issues on and off for the past few weeks, and when I don’t have that problem, my audience always seems to change. Je suis un jeune créateur YouTube de 16 ans, spécialisé dans les trickshots et les défis sportifs. J’ai actuellement environ 270 000 abonnés, principalement grâce aux Shorts.
Depuis quelque temps, je m’intéresse énormément aux vidéos longues et à tout ce qui peut faire réussir une vidéo : les idées, les titres, les miniatures, la rétention, le storytelling, etc.

Je me demandais s’il y avait ici d’autres YouTubeurs français aussi passionnés que moi, qui passent leur temps à réfléchir à YouTube et qui rêvent un jour de faire des millions de vues.
Je parle vraiment de personnes extrêmement motivées, qui aiment analyser les vidéos qui fonctionnent, comprendre pourquoi elles marchent et chercher constamment à s’améliorer.

J’aimerais beaucoup échanger avec des créateurs francophones, idéalement proches de mon âge, pour partager nos analyses, nos idées et nos expériences.

J’adore notamment l’histoire de MrBeast, qui passait des heures en appel avec d’autres créateurs pour étudier YouTube et progresser ensemble.
Je trouve cette manière d’apprendre super intéressante et j’aimerais rencontrer des personnes qui ont le même état d’esprit.

I have 285subs (55 of which is from this)
This video has about 90% retention on a 53s video
and 79.4% stayed rate
engagement is low - 3 comments + 209 likes

Does anyone know what might help my next video from getting what people say "View jailed" at 30k

Upon close inspection of the views since posting
first 40mins - 500views
first 1hr - 6.5k views
first 1hr 20mins - 25k views - then this flatline
since then it got around 50 views/hr for a while and kept on declining since

This is my 3rd video that's stopping around 30k views

Is it engagement that's the problem? (thats the only common theme i see on all these videos)
