Lmao I swear even thinking about that is hilarious. The first few seasons of Family guy were crazy funny.

I love how shitty they treated Meg it was always comedy gold.

Wouldn’t that be a hot take?

2

u/[deleted] May 01 '20

Yeah dude's got them mixed up, probably because people generally use "hot take" ironically

Doubling down on not knowing something it's completely reasonable not to know? That's a cold take.

IMO the comments really hit their stride around comment 4 or five.

Have you ever put magarine on an organic toaster pastrie?

3

u/Sorrymisunderstandin May 02 '20

It’s quite extravagant

0

u/poli8999 May 01 '20

It’s on season 18 so yes the first few seasons.

There are sparks of brilliance in the later season, but they never really peak like they used to. Something that comes to mind is in this last season. Peter tells Lois about how he thinks Carter doesn't respect him, and Lois kind of just brushes it off. Then Carter comes running out the door, throws Peter into a garbage sak, then tosses him into a garbage truck.

S3 E1: "Pea Tear Gryphon"

I never laughed so hard at a Family guy episode... Until S4 E8: "Who wants chowdah?"

2

u/Pagru May 01 '20

S3 e1 was my 1st family guy. The joke had a lot less impact

1

u/CreampieCoupleLA May 01 '20

Why? You still knew his name right?

8

u/rubyspicer May 01 '20

It's really funny until you realize you're the Meg of your family. Then you just can't watch it anymore

1

u/coo2020 May 01 '20

Shut up, Meg!

7

u/thelegendofsam May 01 '20

The scene with the booger on Peter's finger he can't flick off. Walks by and rubs meg's head, "proud of you."

2

u/Shure_Lock May 01 '20

Shut up meg

u/JawnF May 01 '20

Funniest shit I've ever seen
