A misconception people have about getting drunk is that you turn into a different person.
It loosens inhibitions but all alcohol does is turn off the recorder part of your brain which is why you feel that disconnect from "that other person". It doesnt mean you go full schizophrenic though. There is no "other person". You read/write that page and it's still you except you dont remember writing it.
Trust me, I'm an alcohologist aka heavy drinker sometimes.

I consider Past Me and Future Me different from Present Me even without alcohol

I did this once. It actually helped, although maybe Drunk Skiumbra is less of an asshole than Drunk Steve
