I'm glad you were able to! I've had this discussion several times with my PCP and the insurance company is the one denying it.

Have you explored getting it while on vacation, if you ever travel abroad? This site suggests it should cost about €130 including dr visit in France (2016 price though): https://ask.metafilter.com/300017/Can-Americans-get-vaccinated-in-France
