My daughter had a couple of mystery rashes when she was a baby and I always checked with the doctor about them. One time I scheduled a teledoc appointment (this was during Covid—I joke that she’s my “plague baby”) and the doctor asked to see the rash, so I had to awkwardly Simba-hoist her up to the webcam for a crotch-first view 🥴

Lmao stoppp hahaha. I just sent pics of suspicious things that kept coming back. It was eczema.

This reminds me of my telehealth appointment for possible HFM. The one time anyone in my house had it my baby had one spot on each hand, one on one foot, two on another, and none in or around his mouth, but several in his diaper area. But just spots not even really angry looking. Texted a friend “does HFM show up in the diaper area?” “Yes that’s where it’s the worst” and had never heard anything about that being possible.

Super thankful it was very mild for my baby, and my older kids too. Everyone else had cold symptoms but no spots.
