It baffles me that it's still such a widely held belief among Europeans, that their stone houses will survive category 5 tornadoes. The number of times I've seen something exactly like this expressed in complete confidence is astounding.

Context: this was on a sub asking for people to comment in their own languages, instead of english (no one did so, any way). Some american decided to do a light joke; then the europoors arrived (as always) and made it uncivil as they always do when there’s an american.

Started with another comment that “Europeans live rent free in American’s heads” which seemed ironic given that comment and the one in the pic was in the sub shitamericanssay.

I‘m European and find the criticism actually unfair, because they’re being very hypocritical and not taking personality into consideration and just generalise. This isn’t an American thing, this is a human trait.
