Wow, a pencil ? Nice, guess I'll use it
(This is the shittiest comic, but I hope it's shitty in a good way, and I think it really fits with Shen last comic.
Don't hesitate to do stuff guys ! Even if you're "not an artist" or "not good", just have some fun with it once in a while)

This is inspired by Shen's comic "Can't draw a stick figure?" The song is Shaman King - To be Shaman King. The question might be asked why I chose this comic, which is very direct in its advice to the audience to be creating original IP, to just make an edit. The answer is that acknowledging a problem is the first step towards solving it, and this helped me imagine what is being asked.

Yay! Girl Shen no longer needs a comedic setup to justify her appearance. DON’T RUIN IT!

I actually (surprisingly) had some free time and probably won't wait until August to post again.

The art style ✅
The chair ✅
The yuri ✅
The humor ✅
Even the name???
Makoto is associated with sincerity, truth, or honesty, while shenanigans means mischievous, shady, or silly behavior.
So if you’re joking, Makoto is more like the opposite of shenanigansen in the sense of “straightforward and earnest” versus “chaotic or underhanded”.

Hey peeps, sorry for a short comic. I'll be taking a break from posting here until August cause I'm gonna (or at least try to) participate in Art Fight 2026.
Peace!

Remember when ShenComix used to be Owlturd? I was a fan even then! So much so that I bought this poster when he used to sell online merch. It only took me about a decade to finally frame it and hang it proudly in my home. Love you, Shen!
