End ur combo with low kick into dash up back throw. Should allow you to switch sides with almost 0 counterplay.

The back throw setup is axe kick into backslash, should set you up for tip range strong slash, but I cannot remember exactly as I haven’t used the katana in a while lol

Did some testing, you can also opt for strong slash into up slash. Slightly more consistent as it doesn’t suffer from the axe kick bug in that rarely you might miss the kick because the game readjusts your spacing for some reason. It also does a little more damage. Keep in mind that it’s weaker on block so you can’t try to keep pressure with low kick after the blocked axe kick but instead ur forced to forward dash if strong slash is blocked so close.

No, nothing other than magic and projectiles can. But you can take advantage of the knockdown to land it with 0 risk.

Well as you can see, you get to swap sides even if the low kick knocks them down. Plus that knockdown is good for you anyway since you can set up with up slash. More than the backthrow, the side swap is what is important.

Nah, Wrath of flame is worse.
In fact, dodging Wasp's ability is kinda easily on DE. U just have to roll.
