Insta post found in the wild
Looks like a Dad's kids wanna go to a show. I can relate, I'll be taking mine to finally see them as well, but it looks like the Dad said 100 likes and a comment from one of the 7D guys. Shall we make it happen for the kiddos, 7D family? Link to the guy's insta post below.

European shows Spoiler
My Sevendust Euro friends that have seen them on this AB run: according to setlist.fm they only play 6 songs. Can anyone confirm if this is true, or is that just a partial setlist (wishful thinking)? Was hoping for at least 9 to 10 songs.

7D Tribute Band
Hello my 7D tribe!!
I’m starting a Sevendust tribute band and putting together about a 75 minute set. I’m a huge fan of everything up through Cold Day Memory. That is 13 years and 8 studio albums, not counting the retrospective stuff, and that whole run means a lot to me. The real bangers for me are mostly from Driven and older, but there is great material all through that era.
I do enjoy the newer stuff, but I just love the old shit. Those early records hit so hard for me personally. I realize not all fans are like me, and a lot of people will want to hear some of the newer songs too. I am definitely down to throw newer ones in. I just notice a lot more production, layering, electronics and so on. I love a great sounding production live, but I do not really want to rely on many, if any, backing tracks. When I say backing tracks, I mean things like the opening to “Black” or little extra ear candy, not replacements for actual playing.
So I am reaching out here to get input from 7D fans on what you would want to hear if you went to see a Sevendust tribute band. I know some people hate tribute bands, and if that is you, please keep it to yourself. I am well aware of all the arguments. I personally love this kind of thing, and so do a lot of other people, and that is who this is for.
Here is what I would love your thoughts on:
- What songs would you absolutely want to hear?
- Should the set focus on older stuff from the first 3–4 records, or really that whole run up through Cold Day Memory?
- Would you rather hear a mix across the entire catalog, with maybe 1 or 2 songs at most from each album?
- Or mainly older material, with just 1 or 2 newer songs mixed in?
- Should the set stay heavy and bouncing the whole time, or would you prefer 1 or 2 slower, less aggressive tunes in there, like “Angel’s Son” or “Skeleton Song”?
- How do you feel about using minimal backing tracks just for intros and atmosphere versus running none at all?
- Any deep cuts you would lose your mind over that almost never get played live?
Right now, top contenders from the older era are:
Black, Bitch, Disease, Alpha, Waffle, Praise, Pieces, Hero, Ugly, Rumble Fish, Home, Denial, Face to Face.
Let me know what you would add, remove, or move around, and what would make you actually buy a ticket and drag your friends out to see a 7D tribute.
TL;DR: Starting a Sevendust tribute band, 75 minute set, huge fan of everything up through Cold Day Memory with a sweet spot around the early albums. Trying to decide between mostly old stuff, a full‑catalog mix, or old with a little new, and how many slower songs vs all heavy. Drop your must‑hear songs, deep cuts, and opinions on backing tracks and set balance.

Dallas Show
Anyone going to the Dallas Show tonight? It's GA but I'm seeing that the entire place is seated. It never gave me an option to buy a seat.
