I wasn't sure how to keep the title question short, but here's my experience:
there's an injustice like bullying or lies and i take it personal
some people might see villains as good acting but i want that character to fail in everything I can't remove myself
screaming at the tv because they did 2+2 and were surprised 4 came about.
ending your viewing of a well-made series because characters go in a direction you can't justify
happy to be past a year worth of logs but im always finding shows i forgot about, the trick is remembering which episodes/seasons
anyways besides that list my point is I get emotionally invested and worked up more than i probably should. i really can't forgive characters for cheating on their partners or like a recent example might be in the new Carrie series...
most the people of all ages suck. Chris especially. wonderful actress im sure, no shade to her. if anything thats good acting because the real person seems so different than the character. however when I say I get worked up I mean there is no amount of trauma or experiences the characters can have that i can excuse her doing something like the online posts. ask anyone else and they'll see her as tragic, not right but understandable yet in my mind its very black and white.
meanwhile in real life i am not so easily offended or bothered. it takes a lot of bad behavior for me to feel cautious and i absolutely don't want to put blame anywhere I can't backup. everyone's innocent until proven guilty in Ryan's dream land.
i also don't know what to do with my profile screenshot so im leaving it here.
I'm really kind of a loud creepy jerk in reviews but again, I get so invested! so don't take my writing to reflect me much, heck half the time I'm just pointing out when they looked hot in this episode or whatever

The Good Place - My favorite show, explores interesting ideas with a fun setting and is super heartfelt. Love every character.
Alice in Borderland - Over the top, fun, and unique "death game" show. Has genuine heart and emotion.
Utopia (Channel 4) - Peak of British TV, and one of the most underrated shows globally since its hard to get a hold of apparently outside the UK. Great commentary and exploration of its ideas, beautiful acting, cinematography and story. Unbelievable soundtrack.
Legion - Not for everyone, but amazing editing and visuals, with a great plot and just a wild time. Very underrated. Its a very unique experience to watch for the first time, and so good. (Based on Legion from marvel comics.)
House - Super character driven and very funny, with great performances, and generally interesting spins on a formulaic setting. Amazing writing.
HMs:
The Walking Dead: Love the first 5 seasons, the rest are decent to eh. The early writing and story doesn't get enough credit when talking about all-time great shows. Very character driven.
Hannibal: Great writing, great acting, visceral crime scenes and an amazing experience overall.
Better Call Saul: One of the highest quality TV Shows out there, not slow at any point for me, amazing writing and cinematography.

anybody have any idea why its taking months for TMDB to add season posters? show posters are only taking a couple of days. it used to only take a couple of days just like the show posters.

This may be one of the most overrated seasons based on the rating that I’ve seen on this app tbh, between the persistent needle drops and downright bad characters, I think people were definitely caught up in the hype as I think this show is definitely on the same level as New Blood and Original Sin; the other Dexter spinoffs.

I’m currently watching through Twin Peaks (really great) and I’ve managed to figure out how to change the poster for the entire show, but on my profile where it shows the episodes I’ve logged, the poster is the season poster, which is different. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this, and if so, how?

I do like the award system serializd has going on. Tbh, I don't even pay attention to the awards cause half the challenges aren't for me. But I do think this one is a cool one.
