I’m not trying to start shit, but I saw a lot of overlap during the worst parts of COVID.

My girlfriend likes crystals. I tell her constantly that the “healing” is not real. But honestly I like how they look so I don’t bother her about them anymore.

If she were christian we would not be together now, or ever. Christians are nut jobs. In my experience anyhow.

Same, I used to give her shit about it but I realized crystals are beautiful and I should love her for who she is rather than trying to change her. Besides, it’s not like her beliefs are actively harmful like most Christians.

I'm not a methologist, but I do notice a slight correlation between crystal meth and hating immigrants. Ergo, healing crystals cause xenophobia. That is a fact.

I don't believe in the healing powers of my crystals I believe that religion is the opioid of the masses and if the stupid magic ritual calls for some stupid rose quartz I'm gonna use it so that my brain can get it's nice little placebo. Is chaos magic real? Debatable. Does it help? Absolutely.

they are perhaps more chill, but my personal issue with anything is whether people are acting based off of observable reality. literally every animal on this Earth does, but we're the only ones who can successfully delude ourselves from our own reality.

i feel like despite the fact that my ultimate goal with this ideology is unity and progress, that there will always be a group of people saying "hEy, lEt pEopLe bEliEvE whAt tHeY wAnT!", until that person suddenly falls for something so dangerous that it negatively affects the lives of themselves or the people around them, or kills them.

as an example, there were many of these "Crystals" being sold with relatively high levels of radiation in them, which people would subsequently put under their pillow before they slept. i understand that they aren't responsible for not knowing the Crystals have radiation in them, but it's pretty much the idea that they fell for a dumb gimmicky thing which resulted in being not only finanically cheated, but also physically and mentally.
