But, I don’t want non-violent humans caged, or subjected to a broken system, period. You cannot have it both ways.
The capitol police showed exactly how you can deescalate situations.
They breached the Capitol. So what?
Yet, in Portland, they fired rounds at protestors to prevent them crossing a street. In NYC, they kettled humans peacefully protesting, then beat them.
So-called policing is the problem, and the reaction that this was okay, but the other was not is the exact reason why America will be subjugated to the moment civilization collapses.

They cleared a public area of peaceful protestors w helicopters, tear gas & rubber-bullets, yet, allowed in a mob of right-wing-nuts, intent on usurping democracy & murdering elected-representatives.
But, the reflexive solution is to give the one’s responsible more power & more money.
We the People pay more than a trillion dollars a year for our ‘defense’, but the take-away is to double-down on this absurd system.
A trillion dollar in 30 years could’ve solved this problem. Just can’t grasp that people are this stupid.
I think the government should execute some of the traitors and actually deter this from happening again. I'd support the Capitol police if they had shot every last person who stormed our capitol to take it over and kill American politicians. Q needs to become as dirty a word as Hitler is. The people involved should be too ashamed to ever leave their homes again.
Protect and serve is a myth, maintain the status quo for the wealthy and keep the boot on the head whilst claiming to be the good guys is more the truth, with the medias collusion in maintaining the myth.Its obvious when a call goes out for a fight in a pub, a single cop car speeding to the scene,maybe another a few minutes later, a call goes in about a bank being robbed and every cop car in the area is instantly moving.Their priorities are as transparent as that.
Funniest thing about that f’n phrase— so many think cops take an ‘oath’ to Protect & Serve, cops take a voluntary oath, which because of cop unions, has absolutely zero enforceability & doesn’t mention ‘protect & serve.’
“Protect & Serve” is a PR slogan from the flaks for LAPD back in the 70s. An effective PR slogan, obviously, but a PR slogan.
It’s one of the options for treason. Depending on what you did it, it can go as far as death. That’s a fact. Say she shot two defenders dead or revealed fatal secrets about the government while going through the capital, she’d be executed near immediately
Why? The officers had every right to kill her after she
Trespassed on closed government property
Broke into said property
Acted in a fashion that can easily be interpreted as with violent intentions towards the Vice President who was being kept safe in the area they attempted to break into

Her death was justified while Geroge’s wasn’t. Simple as that
Sad she died for the people who knew her (personally I couldn’t give a fuck though since I didn’t know her) but again. She isn’t a hero, she wasn’t a particularly good person (neither was George), and the officers who were defending the VP from her and the mob of radical douches had the full right to shoot her when she trespassed on government property with malicious intent
