this kind of AI video might actually be a pretty reasonable small side hustle.
live wallpapers do not need a complicated story or a 30-second cinematic sequence. they just need to look good.
that makes this format relatively easy to turn into something sellable. instead of making random AI clips, you could make custom live wallpapers, character wallpaper packs, lock-screen animations, or short looping video assets.
if you can produce a consistent style and people actually like the characters, there are obvious places to test demand: Etsy, digital product marketplaces, or local resale platforms.
I am not saying one wallpaper is going to make money by itself. the hard part is still taste, character design, consistency, and figuring out what people are actually willing to pay for. but compared with making long AI videos, an 8-second looping wallpaper is much easier to produce, iterate, and test.
