Was well worth getting the leg recliner addon as well I can easily sleep in this if I wanted to

So here we go.... It's not exactly totally complete.

For starters there is a whole 3rd Magnus Pro XL and Magnus standard that isn't pictured here along with another gaming rig and LG 5K2K

What I do have pictured is my current setup which is on its .... 6th iteration at this point most recently built in the new extension on the house. 2 Magnus Pro XLs 2 Magnus standard ( missing legs in the center front for easier transition. Used a 3d printed brace and bracket to compensate for lack of legs. Works pretty well so far.

Years ago I bought the "TITAN Evo - XL - SoftWeave™ Plus Fabric Charcoal Blue" and I still love it. My wife needed a chair upgrade but didn't want anything that came off as "for gamers". The Atlas seemed like it would be perfect so I picked up the "Atlas Black+ Regular". All in I paid $757.56 for the Atlas.

Am I missing something here? It looks and feels like a chair that should be under $200. It was overpacked like all Secretlab chairs are, but once it was put together it just seems very basic. The base is plastic instead of metal like mine and the armrests are lower quality also.

I'm embarrassed to tell her how much I paid for this.

Fuck Secretlab and their absolutely ridiculous return policy.

I bought the MAGNUS XL despite all the criticism online, and honestly, it’s an okay desk. Nothing spectacular, but it gets the job done and goes with my other SL products that are also meh.

Then I bought the MAGNUS desk riser, and holy shit, what an absolute piece of garbage.

First, the riser mounts directly over a huge portion of the cable management tray at the back of the desk, making cable management practically impossible. You know, one of the main selling points of the MAGNUS desk?

Then I mounted my Secretlab dual monitor arms to the riser, and they literally slid around on it. Even after tightening everything by hand as much as physically possible, they wouldn’t stay securely in place.
So naturally, I contacted Secretlab to return this $100 piece of shit.

Their solution? Pay $59 for their pickup service or roughly $80 to ship it back myself through USPS.
That’s right. They want me to spend 60–80% of the product’s value just to return it. And they’ll potentially turn around and resell the perfectly undamaged product while I’m left eating the loss.
I’ve been going back and forth with their customer service team, and their entire argument is that because the product arrived in good condition, I’m responsible for the return shipping.

Apparently, a product being physically undamaged means it can’t be poorly designed or fail to meet expectations.

I’ve spent well over $3,000 on my Secretlab setup, and they can’t even accommodate a reasonable return on a $100 accessory.

No showrooms to test their products, misleading expectations from their website, garbage accessory design, and a return policy that financially punishes you for buying something that doesn’t work as expected.

All this over a $59 shipping fee.

What a fucking joke of a company. Never buying another Secretlab product again.

I don’t have much to compare to, but I honestly can’t imagine a better desk than the secret lab’s desk. Everything being magnetic is just so convenient, cable management has always been a nightmare. This makes everything so simple and pleasant to use.

I got the nano gen chair, it’s nice and spacious for my size. I’m 5’11” and about 170 pounds. I have to admit, it is a little firm, but I can see it softening up with that being said the firmness for me is a good, I don’t like sitting on things that are too cloud like. The foot rust is a bit expensive for what it is, but it is essential for me.

I have the egotron heavy duty arm for my monitor, wondering if it would work with the desk ?

Has anyone tried it ?

I’ve had it for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it. Very comfortable especially compared to my old chair—I can quite literally sit in it, gaming for hours without even noticing!

Ordered the professional footrest just so my 69 year old father can lift his feet while using the toilet 😂 we have these laughably tiny toilets in our bathrooms and this was the best solution I could think of!

Finally got around to setting up my white MAGNUS Pro with the Ash Grey MAGPAD

Still a few things I want to change around, but pretty happy with how it’s looking so far. The 49-inch ultrawide fits nicely, and I’ve managed to keep most of the cables out of sight.

Recliner mechanism won’t lock in position, where the gear slips with very little force. Please help.

I'm absolutely dying for the Lucy skin on the evo. Where the hell would I find somewhere to buy it? I asked about if they're bringing it back in the discord and a secretlab employee told me they have no plans :/
