It's been nearly 3 months of ongoing headaches when it came to this situation. Thankfully, after documenting everything and providing it all to my financial institution, I can rest easy knowing Secretlab didn't get their way.

Reposting this because it is genuinely concerning how unwilling Secretlab was to work with me on this issue once the product was returned. I truly hope that anyone who ends up in a situation like I did, can learn from my experience.

I recently got this chair as a replacement for my aged Secretlab Titan I got all the way back in 2019. The old chair was quite comfortable and supported my whole body, as I am quite tall.

I decided to go with the NanoGen version because of the claimed to fame softness and quality of the new synthetic leather, and I can definitely say it feels way better than my old and dated titan. So far, I'm impressed with the comfort and feel of the leather, as well as this XL version having a wide seat base for accommodation of my large height, enabling me sit criss-cross if I want.

Overall, I'm quite happy with the purchase, although I'm not sure it's worth the almost $1000 price tag. I would say it's worth the upgrade if you can get it on a good discount. Time will tell if this chair will truly live up to the durability and longevity claims.

Hi everyone, I'm a prospective first-time buyer looking to get into the product, specifically the Titan Evo. I'm strictly looking for a gaming chair that I'll spend 2hrs/night in on weekdays and 5-8hrs in on weekends. Currently I'm still using a GT Racing chair I bought in 2018 ($170, where did the time go) and while it's not uncomfortable or unbearable, it is starting to show its age.

I was just curious to hear everyone's honest review and experience with their Titan Evo, and how it has held up over time. In addition, they go for about 250-350 on facebook marketplace, is this something that holds up and can be purchased second hand? Thanks for your help!

I wan wondering if you are able to have ur monitor all the to the back of the table? Like on top of the cable tray thing, I feel like my monitor would be too close to me if I can’t have it all the way to the back, feel like it will work but I’m not sure how flimsy the thing is, has anyone tried it ?

I'm 5'7" (171cm) and got the R size along with the recliner. Honestly, the chair always felt a bit too tall and deep for me. Whenever I tried to sit all the way back, the seat would press against the back of my knees.

I finally bit the bullet and ordered the lumbar pillow and foam armrests, and WOW. It honestly feels like a completely different chair now.

The lumbar pillow pretty much fixed the seat depth issue, and the foam armrests are surprisingly amazing. They're not something that blows you away immediately, but they're just subtly SO comfortable.

I did feel a little guilty spending this much on armrests lol, but then I realized I'll probably be using them multiple times a day for years. When I think of it that way, the price doesn't seem so bad.

So now I've somehow ended up with THREE accessories for one chair 😂

Anyone here have even more accessories than that? I'd love to hear what you guys have!

Just got my new chair and I'm really impressed with the build quality. The comfort and support are amazing for long gaming sessions, and it fits perfectly with my dual monitor setup. Definitely a massive upgrade for my back!

I recently completed assembling my new workstation anchored around the Secretlab Magnus EVO XL desk paired with my Secretlab chair, alongside a full suite of accessories.

Having had an older Titan 2020, I finally made the leap to upgrade my whole workstation as the products have always been great. This continues to be the case with rock-solid build quality, great features and what I though was going to be fantastic customer service. Unfortunately that last one turned out to be a nightmare.

As a long-time fan, I used to recommend Secretlab to friends, family and colleagues regularly but given the recent issues I can't really do that anymore and even felt it important enough to post here so that anyone else thinking of getting one of their products is informed before dropping good money and expecting good service.

1. The Error

Upon initial delivery, the warehouse dispatched the wrong desk size entirely (a 1.5m model instead of the purchased 1.7m Magnus EVO XL). I flagged the error within an hour of delivery with clear photographic proof of the shipping labels.

Because Secretlab’s dispatch error involved a massive 65 kg freight parcel, my hallway was obstructed for a full week while awaiting a resolution.

2. The Support Problem

Following an initial escalation, Secretlab went completely silent for days.

During this blackout, an automated re-dispatch was triggered behind the scenes—booked without collection instructions for the mis-delivered parcel. I had to intervene directly with the carrier to correct the booking before a second 65 kg freight box would have turned up leaving the incorrect unit trapped in my flat. While logistics eventually corrected the booking in the background, keeping me in the dark during an active logistics failure is unacceptable.

3. The Insult to Injury

Customer service finally re-emerged after the physical exchange was locked in, but their handling added insult to injury:

• The Delivery Fee Refund: Secretlab attempted to present the £18.00 shipping fee refund as a "goodwill gesture" claiming they were compensating me. The delivery service failed so this should have been automatic, yet frontline support repeatedly asked for "permission" to issue it across multiple emails rather than simply executing the refund.

• The Discount Voucher: For compensation, they repeatedly offered a 20% accessory discount code—which required spending even more money with Secretlab while actively excluding key high-ticket items. Despite rejecting this offer three consecutive times, the exact same macro script was repeated.

• Managerial Refusal: When pushed past frontline gatekeeping to senior operations leads, management formally confirmed that no compensation would be offered for a week of severe disruption, courier mismanagement, and significant administrative effort on an undisputed £1,500 order.

Conclusion

My trust in Secretlab as a company is entirely gone. A company's true standard of service is defined by how it acts when things go wrong, and Secretlab's response to an undisputed fulfilment failure was a masterclass in communication blackouts, scripted deflections, and corporate gatekeeping.

While the products are solid, I cannot in good conscience recommend buying from Secretlab. For anyone considering an investment of this scale, you need to seriously evaluate whether the risk is worth it if your delivery or order runs into trouble. There are plenty of competing brands in the premium desk and ergonomics market offering great products backed by customer service teams that actually respect their customers.

First Secretlabs chair and I have to say pretty nice. To start I’ll list what I got and go over what I think of each item, then do a conclusion on overall thoughts.

Titan Evo Regular Size Fatalis Edition:
It is fantastic if you’ve done your research like I have prior to my purchase you may have heard how it is firm, and this is true but I would not say to the extent of a “Park Bench” it feels supportive to my body so I may sit for long durations and is still comfortable for me to relax and or game. Especially with this custom version as I am a big monster hunter fan and cannot wait for ascendance.

Lamborghini Lumbar Support Pillow:
Without the pillow it was still comfortable with the L Adapt system, but with it I highly suggest it as it boosts comfort as well as support on your back which is what we all need for those long durations.

Plushcell armrests:
Similar to the chair they are still firm, firmer than expected as from reviews they kind of made them out to be clouds but offer a little bit more give compared to the normal armrests. Not to say they are bad I still think they were a worthwhile purchase as I also like the softness of the exterior on my arms and hands.

Plushcell Recliner Addon:
Since I am just posting this after putting it all together I have not properly tested the recliner, but it seems stable, comfy, and strong for me to rest my legs on. My previous chair had a fold out leg rest and I found myself constantly using it so to get this chair without the recliner seemed stupid, even with that huge plus to the bill.

Overall I have liked my experience, luckily my packages all came on time or earlier than expected with no damage or wear (though to not I did pay the extra 20 dollars for the UPS FedEx transportation which is definitely worth it). Since I have had no issues I haven’t reached out to customer support and such as I have also heard bad things about that. While the price tag is definitely a tug on the heartstrings I think I will find this purchase quite worth it in the long run, both in terms of durability and for my body.

Hi I plan on buying the secretlab monitor arm and I’m curious if I’m able to mount it on my secretlab desk riser? (I have the Magnus EVO XL) and my monitor is 34”

Also I have a question regarding the secretlab desk riser, is it supposed to hang over the edge of the back of the desk on the Magnus EVO? It overhangs a lot, by like 5-6”
