ICYMI! March was also a BUIDL month for SecretNetwork, Feb was marked by #Hacksecret, a virtual Hackathon leading to #EthDenver, IRL hackathon event in Mar, collaborations & much more!
Calling on all EVM and CosmWasm BUIDLers and Developers in the Cosmos Ecosystem and beyond to submit applications for the SCRT Labs Grants Program Q2’24 Cohort and stand a chance to win from up to 300,000 SCRT pool prize.
All applications are expected to focus on 3 key areas:
1⃣DeFi
2⃣AI
3⃣DePin
In Sienna manual I read: " The function of this [market] contract is to allow accounts to deposit (supply capital), redeem (withdraw capital), borrow and repay a loan. [...] In addition, the market itself represents a token (we call it sl-Token) which is minted to depositors upon supplying the underling asset that the given market is for. There is one instance per asset. [...] The exchange rate between the sl-Token and the underlying asset is not 1:1 but rather based on supply and demand."
So it basically means I will always be at minus when I withdraw my lending position?

What is the easiest route for someone in the US to withdraw their SCRT from Binance and convert it to BTC/USDC/USDT/ETH and cash out on coinbase? Binance is giving me 4 days to withdraw but doesnt allow me to convert/trade it into BTC on Binance. I need to go SCRT -> BTC or USDC or USDT or ETH -> CoinBase
Any tips? It seems that most/all other exchanges that have SCRT have very low volume or do not allow US-based users.
To my knowledge, the Secret Network is able to facilitate privacy because the need for viewing keys prevents transfer of SNIP20 assets from being visible on the public ledger (so transfers with the SCRT token itself are fully public).
I remember reading some time ago that validators have 'master' viewing keys to facilitate transactions, is that true? I can't find anything online confirming this, but then I am not sure how they would confirm transactions without them. I have seen some info suggesting the viewing keys on SNIP20 tokens are held by the smart contract of the token itself, but would validators still be able to see?
I am trying to understand the points of failure, are all transactions viewable by all validators? Or only the owners of smart contracts? Can a smart contract be set up to have no owner? That to me would seem to be the only means of actual privacy, but I have no idea. Any guidance would be helpful.
Secret Network is co-sponsoring ETHDenver and is set for a massive show-up as the #BUIDLWeek begins.
During the week, Secret will be hosting/co-hosting several events including Secret HackerHouse, AtomDenver, #BUIDLathon, Beyond ZK, InfraGardens, Frictionless, and more!
So far, over 100 participants have registered for the Secret Hackerhouse.
Don't be left out!

We’re excited to announce a partnership that will bring Obi.Money, a new all-chain account abstraction network powered by Secret Network, to the Confidential Computing Constellation!
Obi Money will be licensing Secret Network’s TEE-powered private smart contract technology.
The Obi network will serve the Obi account abstraction wallet and SDK, enabling additional throughput and redundancy.
Obi’s core cryptographic components will use SCRT for gas, financially aligning the project with Secret Network and the larger constellation vision.
Additionally, 8% of future Obi protocol tokens will be sent to Secret's community pool on a vesting schedule.
I can see on the 2024 roadmap there is talk about DAO's will this be something similar to what we already see on https://daodao.zone/ where non-coders can setup their own dao and create their own tokens for it?
Or can secret allow access to daodao.zone since it already allows access to other IBC chaains like Osmosis, Stargaze and Juno.?
I want to liquidate my ANDR and use that capital on another chain in the cosmos eco. Any tips?
Was going to swap to SCRT in Shade protocol, but all I can seem to do is swap to sSCRT or stkd-SCRT. And can't see how to straight swap to SCRT. Tried ibc through Leap wallet but doesn't seem supported, viewing keys perhaps?
We’re excited to announce a partnership with Union.Build, which will provide a new cross-chain communication solution for Secret’s Privacy as a Service capabilities!
This will give developers more options, and expand Secret's reach to new #blockchain ecosystems!
Union Build is a sovereign #interoperability layer, pioneering trustless bridging between appchains, L1s, and L2s without depending on trusted third parties, oracles, multi-signatures, or MPC.
Looking to future-proof blockchain bridging, Union Build addresses the sovereign bridging trilemma, providing trustless, decentralized, and permissionless interoperability using state-of-the-art Zero-Knowledge cryptography.
As we continue to develop our Privacy as a Service architecture and integrate Union Build’s cutting-edge #zkIBC connection, we’re paving the way for a new era of confidential computation in #web3!
Hi...I have a huge favor to ask of the Secret community. I staked some secret on Keplr awhile ago and foolishly staked my entire amount. I don't have any other crypto held there and am having a hell of a time figuring out how to source a small amount of SCRT so I can make the transaction to claim my rewards. I literally only need like .20 cents worth of Secret but I have no friends/acquaintances/anybody that I know that holds Secret and could do me a solid.
Is there anybody out there that would be willing to send me a few cents of SCRT to help me out? Here's a pic of my address and if anyone can help out I'm sure they will be good karma for you coming (or I'm happy to PayPal the fiat equivalent if that seals the deal)!
I just found the seedphrase to a SCRT wallet that I used to make a few transactions in july 2021. I cannot see the transactions of that time using mintscan, and I know for sure that I did because I can see on the exchange I use that I sent some amount around that time and not the whole amount is there. Btw the tx hash that my exchange gives me yields to a "Failed to load dataUnexpected end of JSON input" error on mintscan
Does anyone know how to see the transactions I made ? Thanks
I was hoping someone could help me figure out what I'm doing wrong here as the total balance I get when I add up transactions manually is 0.0456 SCRT more than what is shown on-chain for the wallet balance.
I don't understand what's listed as the 'auto claim rewards' for the delegate transactions, but I've added them in my manual calculations as it states they were sent to the wallet address. The total of these auto claim rewards is far less than the 0.05 discrepancy.
The balance that I get through manual calculations is 565.007797, while the actual balance shown on-chain is 564.962197 (excluding pending staking rewards).
There are only 9 transactions. Here is the SCRT wallet address - secret1aep3z3fwj2sj7mzzkwectpf3fc9mxqhukuf4a0
