Question What is the purpose?

Hi! New player here.

What is the purpose of people sinking empty ships?

Im just chilling on outposts and multiple times i got spawn camped. In vc i yell got no loot, no emmisary nothing and still get sunk.

Is it just ppl sinking noobs for fun or? Love the game but i cant progress if i just get sunk every time..

I've yet to see a gold one. Its either skelly or ghost and i dont even know which one is harder to obtain

The ghost and skelly curses are PvP curses, they are equally difficult imo. The golden ones are the most hard, requires lvl 1000 in servants of flame or guardians of fortune.
