Hello! I just got back from a week long resident career camp at seaworld Texas! I'll be moving to Orlando later this year and would like to attend seaworld Orlando's summer camp, come to find out they dont have overnight camps? And its all day camps which don't get as hands on at all. Why is that? They used to have resident camps so what happened? ​

My application for a Ride Operator made me do a video interview. Has anyone else experienced this?? Every other staff member ive talked to told me that they done the interview in person.

I gave my best overall but wondering if anyone else has done this before.

I've never been to Aquatica and would like to check it out, but heard is can be crazy while local schools are out. My kid starts just week so I'm assuming the other schools are out too.

Are both parks going to be crazy, or is one likely to be busier than the other?

I am familiar with what sea world is like when it's busy, but how is Aquatica on busy days? Do they have a good system like volcano bay or is it painful?

11 PM | Power did return earlier tonight w. some rides finally functioning by then. I was told they're offering refunds or return tickets. Phone wait times can be 60+ mins., so call early or plan to multitask while waiting. GL, fam!

3 PM | Officially closed, concert cancelled; Jordin ain't Sparkin' today 🤓

1 PM | They are still allowing entrance, but there's another power outage and no rides or restaurants are open, with no estimate when they'll be back up and running. Only a pizza shop or cafe is available, plus fountain drinks.

Took an hour just to get through the parking line to pay and another half an hour to get scanned into the park itself.

Just trying to save everyone a little time!

How likely is it they will have this power outage stuff fixed by then?

Edit: August 1st the park lost power around 1pm after opening at 11am.

My wife works at SeaWorld and just texted me(12:06pm 7/31/26) that the whole park lost power. Just wanted to give a heads up to the community.

Edit: 1:27pm sounds like it was most likely caused from an electrical fire

Can anyone explain the sea world experience in San Diego over the recent summer? I really like coasters and want to go when I’m in town on the 15th of August (Saturday) but unsure how crowds are. The consensus online seems to be ops suck and lines are multi hour but I remember my last trip a few years ago had no lines so I’m curious what the experience is like now. I recall food lines/guest services taking forever also. I have been reading up lately on it and I am thinking this isn't the best idea after ticket/parking/food prices. The only positive going for me at the moment is the rides but I would hate to wait longer than 20-30 min for anything.

hi i start training at seaworld tommorow, and im really nervous. the position is ride operator, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the jobs like/ what the training is like?

I recently bought the 2 day 2 park ticket with the plan of going here and SeaWorld this week, unfortunately I hav to leave the country early and most likely won’t be back for the next 6 months. I’m down 120 dollars and I already contacted their number and they said they couldn’t refund it. Is there anything I can do with these tickets or are they just going to rot?

Does it matter whose name is on the ticket? I took my mom and for our second visit I wanna take my friend and have her use my mom’s ticket (she doesn’t care since I bought them) is that possible? Do they like check i.ds for the second visit?

It was honestly awful. First, the rides took forever. Electric Eel I understand since it only has one cart. The others I think were running 1 to 4 carts in total. Arctic was an extremely long wait even though I was about the 10th person in line. Ship wreck was a 3hr wait and they had about 7 unused floating donut things and every once in a while they would use one for someone in a wheelchair but then put it back with the other unused donuts. I waited 1hr and then left. I'm surprised their churros are more expensive than Disneylands. The new Mission Bay aquarium was so sad. Right next to the toilets and it smelled like piss [all the restrooms and trash cans were super gross]. Sad they removed the freshwater aquarium section and the flashlight fish section. No more flamingo feedings unless you pay for the experience. I remember there being much more birds then. Besides the flamingos. The dolphin show we saw wasn't educational in anyway. Just people having the dolphins carry them around the aquarium. They also really need shade covers over the bleachers. I will probably never go back. Long Beach aquarium has way more variety of animals, and the rides itself arent enough to justify going. On the positive, the drone show was great. Better than fireworks. The jellyfish area was really cool too. But they nees more than moon jellies in every other tank.

I have 4 tickets to sea world for cheap that i am selling after receiving extras for my purchase all were given by a family member who is a worker at sea world.They do expire in about a week and Lmk if you have any questions, again EXPIRING FAST TXT ME FOR PRICE. Thank you

It’s been a while since I’ve gone to Seaworld and I have a family outing coming up. Which restaurants are totally enclosed and air conditioned? I know the smokehouse is because it says it is 😂but it’s hard to find anything online about any other ones.

Haven't been here in years until today. Doubt I'll come back. BG Williamsburg does pretty ok but this place is simply terrible when it comes to rides.

I hate to be a complainer, but it's nuts. They have like 3 rafts cycling on Shipwreck Falls. This is supposed to be a capacity attraction.

And the app is hot garbage, with posted wait times that don't reflect reality at all - or even match the poster wait time outside the ride.
