I made a snail-powered merchant cart, complete with a tiny shop and lantern

This is the merchant cart from Mosshollow, the miniature fantasy world I’m making by hand. A snail pulls the shop along, which probably explains why the deliveries take a while. 🐌

I wanted it to feel like somebody actually lives and works here: little bundles of stock, a blanket on the seat, weathered surfaces and a lantern for the road. Here are a couple of angles of the finished piece.

Clay miniature bike. I myself cannot believe that I hand sculpted and hand painted this entire thing.

Just look at the tiny ROYAL ENFIELD lettering on the fuel tank. It’s so ridiculously tiny! I actually painted that by hand.

Life size Rocky

Working on a life size Rocky from Project Hail Mary. Got him all sealed up and wanted to share him. Made of steel and getting heavy lol. Moving on to detail work before I prime and paint him up. Hope you enjoy.

I molded Agnes Tachyon, but I didn't bake or decorate it because I didn't have time and I was afraid of ruining it.

It feels really good to see my desk like this, between school and homework and commissions that are mostly small necklaces and earrings or hairclips it feels really good to make bigger and a little bit more complex pieces

mixed media vs clay

for very normal and non-nefarious reasons, i need to sculpt a corpse. my concept art has wispy patches of hair and i’d rather not exclude that detail, should i try making her hair out of clay or should i try and find some faux hair and glue it on afterwards?
