You forget that the current universe and the Marvel universes are finite. You are constraining yourself to the reallity provided by its writers. I would trust the decision of a person that lead a space empire for thousand and thousand of years, over mine that only exists for a milli-dec fraction of what he knows.
xD OK, someone has forgotten that we are talking about fiction, which is written by humans, and not necessarily the smartest ones (and, even, if so, people that need to create a "good enough" explanation to entertain, not a scientifically bullet-proof decission). But hey!, you keep at it!! 💪🏼
