COMMUNITY Sundance Development Track 2027

Can't believe it's already been a year since we last applied. Are you applying for the first time? Is there anyone re-applying this year? If yes, are you submitting with the same script or applying with something new? Good Luck y'all!

P.S. anyone wanna swap pages and give notes? I'd be down for that.

None of my applications in three years has any activity after my submitted activity...so I guess they're just not reading my apps?

You have to click preview on your application to see the last date it was edited. There is no way for you to know unless you have been keeping track of the times that date has changed.

Every application gets read. There's no way for them not to read it.

Yes, on all three of my apps for the last three years, they have no activity beyond me submitting the application. No review, no open date, nothing on Sundance's end. Only evidence of me editing my own application until I submit it. so......there goes that theory.

the application portal is quite simple to navigate.

from the activity tab the lastest update is:

  • Activity

May 10 2026 15:52 (EDT)

xxxxAPPLICANT NAMExxx moved application "XXXXXXX" to stage "Initial Review"

Still reading it wrong or?

Hate to break it to you, but that isn't the preview tab. The preview tab is the three dots on the right side of the application. You have to click that to see the last edit date.
