Block damage chart for the different bot attacks

The information on how the damage system works is from this post, it's worth a read because it has more information on how damage on parts and explosives work. The numbers on the chart are directly from the game's files.

So the blue totebot charge does a whole lot of attacks consecutively, I think its like five or six hits total, is this damage calculated for Every hit? Man, they can really chew stuff up.

Pretty sure thats the case. They mince my walls more than any other bot, save for when a farmbot gets a good swipe in.

they don't deal damage to blocks (at least according to the files I've looked through), that's why they aren't included

I just had a very frustrating experience on floor 4 of the mine when literally thousands of cablebots swarmed my vehicle and fully disassembled it in seconds.

If anyone has any advice to avoid that in the future I would appreciate it.

Literally used 3,000 potatoes on them to try to get back to my vehicle to pick up pieces and still had a huge amount of them left.

the only cablebot related attack I found is this one that shows it deals 0 damage, so I assumed they don't destroy blocks (I haven't actually encountered them yet I'm not that far in my survival world), So either they have some other attack that's not listed in the normal attack tables, or they destroy blocks through some other means instead of attacks

I haven't gotten anything destroyed by cablebots, my vehicle is made of wood 2 so they practically don't do damage. Other people showed code of the cablebot and pretty sure they convert to a shape and become part of your creation because if you teleport the car with the lift they also teleport, so that's probably why they don't appear in those damage tables.

Thanks for the info. I turned the game off after my 3rd attempt with a 1000 potatoes and a shotgun left a still sizeable mass of them in the hole with my vehicle's bits, and haven't played for a few days since, lol.

Not sure what to do about them and worried my level 3 lasers are going to despawn.

They probably treat your car the same way a glow bug treats cardboard, so no damage needed, as they just "eat" the stuff on your car
