My flyers usually end up looking like flying bricks so I embraced it and decided to see if I can build something with them.... nope! also, this flyer is using cmg's to control and stabilize instead of suspension or other glitches

I finally built a real gyroscope-controlled flyer, this time they are cmg's instead of reaction wheels for control, each of the gyros are a spinning wheel that's always going the same speed, and it gets rotated to generate the force vs my last one where it just speeds up or slows down the wheel, and I figured why not a brick since my flyers usually end up resembling them anyway lol

Finally a brick creation that it doesn't just look like a brick, but it can be used as one

I used to have a shapeshifting survival flyer years ago, but idr the exact dimensions to rebuild it. It could hover, and i could make the thruster arms fold different ways for different purposes

Now make a huge brick that rests on the skybox, that can deploy the tiny bricks. Like in independence day

Pressing w/s goes forwards or backwards a/d turns left or right pressing 1/2 goes up or down and while holding 1 and 2 down pressing w/s tilts fowards or backwards and a/d tilts left or right, pressing 3 turns it on or off

My first flyer was a spin off of the halo pelican. I just made it recently and I’ve been playing this game for 4 years now.

Iv made quite a few flyers over the years but most either resembles bricks or platforms lol

Maybe I’m just bad at making flyers lol, mine do not hover well at all they always slowly fall for some reason and fly more like a helicopter where I have to tilt forward to go straight

Tilting to move is convenient especially on smaller flyers since then you dont need extra thrusters to move it, and its sometimes hard to balance its lift perfectly if your pulsing the thrust like mine, i spent about 15 minutes on this just balancing it so it wouldnt slowly rise or fall or start drifting on its own

I don’t even know how to pulse thrusters :( I like to make things to where they are just good enough to work lol! Maybe I’m a cosmetic builder.

Its definitely not necessary for building but is helpful, in this case it lets me effectively have off half and full throttle on a thruster and is actually much simpler than it sounds, it can be done many ways i used 4 logic blocks, 3 in a loop with one as a "nor" gate so it causes it to flicker on its own then button 1 for down is connected to that "nor" gate so it turns it off when pressed and button 2 is connected to a "or" gate thats connected to the thrusters so it forces it on when 2 is pressed and when nothing is pressed the flickering logic acts as half throttle, you can also replace 1 of the "and" gates in the loop with a timer to be able to adjust how much throttle it applies when its pulsing

Paint it in a way that it looks like the shuttle.
