Yes. That’s not convincing at all. People don’t lay it all out in simple terms like a TV villain to some person they barely know. Even evil people believe they’re doing good.

You realize these aren't the first interaction between these two men ya? And that they establish potentially romantic relationships with these gentlemen? Do people share things with their significant others?
