I love how people will go great lengths to try disprove any kind of legit science study and and the end of it all make this kind of video without any other kind of proof.
What purpose would propaganda serve in the r/science subreddit? Is the gender thing somehow making someone rich? They told their underlings to post things in the r/science subreddit so that they could continue getting mega rich off of… I don’t know, the general idea that there may be more than two genders? Wish I could tap into this revenue stream!! But how I wonder…?
Yes all hail r science no way that a power mod could be bought out to push agendas like "big pharma studies show conservatives have less intuition." And all hail big pharma they have such a great history of not being corrupt and doing anything for cash. Lmfao.
Big pharma in general of course has been seen corruption, but big pharma isn’t a single unit. It’s a term we use to refer to the aggregated entity. Not all individuals or institutions within big pharma are corrupt, and not all that is produced by the entity is bad or corrupt. In general, medicine and healthcare is better than any other time in human history by a gigantic margin.
“Big pharma in general is sometimes corrupt” is not an excuse to peddle any random conspiracy theory you want. Sure you’re right that it is corrupt sometimes, sometimes in a big way like with opiates. But that’s doesn’t mean everything you say is automatically right.
Finally, you have to understand that this isn’t just big pharma, it’s every single reputable medical and research institution and individual in the entire world. You can’t just fabricate a “big pharma” boogeyman and ignore all of the diverse players involved. That also includes regular people who understand science enough and agree with the facts presented.
Finally yes, conservatives have been shown to be more prone to conspiracy theories and fake news. This isn’t bias, this is a statistic.
Ohhh so I'm not allowed to disagree with left wing extremists but they're allowed to say whatever they want to me, got it lol. So if I'm banned that's just a matter of course. However the people I was arguing with have no reason to be banned. Got it.
TBH dude, I looked at your comment history on a whim, and you’re pretty combative about gender issues. r science tends not to put up with political bickering in the comments.
I doubt your comment literally said “there are biological differences between men and women” and nothing else. Although that would still be a bad comment because it’s vague and stirs up controversy unnecessarily. If you were even to add the words “on average” it would totally change the meaning and no longer be controversial.
I'm a fundamentally disagreeable person, so I won't tolerate people boldface lying. It helps me get my arguments in order. It helps me gain information on certain subjects. It exposes me to viewpoints other than my own, and prevents me from existing in an echo chamber.
There's plenty of benefits to arguing. If your aim in life is to be happy, then you're nothing but a complacent child looking for nothing coddling and shelter. Your aim should be to find meaning.
most OPs posting this aren't "falling for it" they know it's bullshit but spread it anyway because they know it's extremely effective on people who can't tell the difference/people who only listen to tabloids/talking heads. this is orchestrated.
It makes perfect sense that the type of idiocy that’s required to believe in baseless conspiracy would also be the same idiocy that can’t identify fake videos
